Ah, but even then we would run into the problem of inappropriate tags. You could say that a thread would just get locked if it was about asking for blue flames and the tags were: "Halo" "Scorpion" "Cortana" "Halo Wars", but that's just one more thing for the ninjas to have to sort through.
I was merely suggesting that the search feature be used to search through the subject lines of the threads, pick out ones with the words you typed in, and sort them accordingly by relevance or author name or something like that.
Taking into account obviously the spacing in between words (looking for the words 'space' and 'ship' separately as opposed to one with 'spaceship', for example) and the order in which the words are arranged within the search bar.

I create a topic and tag it with the words 'halo', 'bungie', 'wraith', 'kill', and 'screenshot'. Another user can then search 'bungie wraith kill screenshot', and my topic will be in the results of that search. I would call it 'tag searching', so you could choose 'Tag' instead of 'forums', 'Halo: Reach files' or 'Forums'.

Topic tags?
The implementation of them would certainly assist this new feature in being much more effective, if that's what you're saying, of course.
