heres a way to deal with DERANKING. If you are in a game and players are trying to derank, you can always just Quit. Give them credit for the win and then they will actually GAIN experience points rather than lose them which of course means they leveled up rather than down(defeating the entire purpose of deranking). Unless your so "into" the # next to your name (thats all it is is an inaccurate # btw) you can always just wait it out and take the cheezy victory and gain some easy experience points for the win, which ofcourse makes your ranking more innaccurate because its a bogus win. I know Quitting is most possibly the worst sportsmanship in the game, however, cheating in anyway shape or form is by far the worst.I know it sucks, but who wants to play a 15 minute game that ends negative 16 to possitive 12 ?
great update this week, actually one of the few ive enjoyed. no need to send in my email .(Ha Ha)
ps, i hope i dont get banned for this post.
i actually have a legetimate question reguarding SOUND?
has bungie ever experimented with 7.1 surround sound, i know 6.1 is almost standard and 7.1 is available , but only if the CD or DVD etc. is encoded for 7.1. i have 6.1 and when i used it for Halo(2), i was amazed. the rear center speaker extended the sound to a true 360 degree system, so much that i could hear the left and right footsteps individually. i know Halo(2) is not encoded for 6.1, but my system does it "Dynamically" which is pretty good. I could only immagine the idea of a true "THREE DIMENTIONAL" sound delivered from a 7.1 system for Halo(2). for hose who dont know, the 7th speaker would be in the center of the room between the front center channel and the rear center channel achieving alot more sound depth and a 3D environment rather than a 360 degree environment.
