you know what i mean...

no rilly, without their comat armor hunter are just a pile of worms

I dont think this is true. I believe I read somewhere that lekgolo can combine without armor, which was why they were so dangerous at first. I'll dbl check.

They completely owned the Elites in ground warfare before joining the covenant. So I'm fairly sure they can form without the armor :P.

looks like you saved me time.

Grunts are not heavier than a human in any way maybe a small women but grunts=12 year old boys
Elites are heavier than an "average" human, elites are really 7'4 300+ pounds, humans can most definitely achieve that weight
Jackals are like grunts except slightly stronger
Skirmishers are about as strong as an "average" trooper but they're not tougher
Brutes are like half the strength of a silver back gorilla
Drones us their wings more than muscle that's how they pick up a man
hunters are just 50 lb worms so not much of a fight

A: Where did you get that info on grunts.
B: Elites are taller, and undoubtably heavier then humans.
C: Eh...
D: Meh again.
E: Brutes are 9 foot tall, and come from a planet with 2g gravity. Their strength, agility, and endurance will be twice that of a human (If they were 6 foot tall). Due to the extra height it might very well be 3x.
F: Wings are a muscle.
G: Hunters are the worms formed into one being. They are talking about the hunters in the game, aka the combined version and not a single worm.

A:it's common sense really if grunts live on a planet near half the gravity of earth then you would assume they would be close to half the weight of a human male and that weight would equal that of a 12 or 13 year old boy and strength depending on muscle to mass
B:im assuming ur agreeing with me
C:lol
D:hehe
E:brutes are suposidly 9ft in halo 3 but not in reach...wierd, and they are much stronger than that the covenant came for them when they were practically Neanderthals since they had a civil war which messed them up, human Neanderthals were 2-3x stronger than we are now imagine a brute Neanderthal.
F:i kno i was just rushing because i like to write faster than my brain forgot to write muscle and arm
G:just stating what hunters really are

A: Grunts reproduce rapidly. I wouldn't be surprised if 75% of the grunts in the war came from planets other then the homeworld, or high charity style stations.

"We knew the world would not be the same.
A few people laughed, a few people cried, most people were silent.
I remembered the line from the Hindu scripture, the Bhagavad-Gita.
Vishnu is trying to persuade the Prince that he should do his duty and to impress him takes on his multi-armed form and says,
'Now, I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds...'
I suppose we all thought that one way or another."
- J. Robert Oppenheimer

Hunters > Elites/Spartans/Brutes > ODSTs > Marines/Jackals > Drones/Grunts

Not adding Forerunners and San'Shyuum 'cause I can't judge well enough.
For the San'Shyuum, all we've seen is the wrinkly old Prophets.
Forerunners, again, not much for me to judge on. I know there's Cryptum, but I can't really compare them to everyone else.

I don't remember in what book, I think it's first strike, the Prophet of Truth states the Brutes are more efficient than the Hunters.
Probably because they were easier to manipulate. The Brutes are like dogs that just want to please their master, IMO.
They're barbaric and effective in terms of groundside fights. Strategic ship fights...not so much. Give them something to swing around and they'll tear sh1t up, gladly.

Hunters are tanks and extremely powerful, but they're more difficult to understand/communicate with.
