Subject: What if Six had gone with Keyes?

Just a fun little "what if" thread.

What if Emile wasn't too busy showing off like a jackass, and he killed the Zealots after him, allowing him to take the approaching Cruiser down?

Noble Six would have been able to leave with Keyes, and he would have been involved with the events on Alpha Halo.

How would the events played out then? What would have been different?

I knew I was going to hear this. Six and Chief wouldn't be sent on every mission together.

It's a metaphor for the 07s' lack of identity. too old to be newfag, yet too new to be oldfag, we wander b.net in search of a home, forever trying to be something we are not.

Well the Autumn shouldn't have been on the surface at all so the idea itself is illogical.

[Announcement Trailer] Halo: Forerunner

I lol'd at the absurd miscommunication that occurs whenever dibbs post something. Perhaps his brain is so highly evolved that he can no longer clearly communicate with lesser life forms, even among his own species.

He would have died.

He lacked an AI which effectively guided John all throughout the events on Alpha Halo and, had he somehow survived until the forward base was established, would have been off trying to complete another mission of vital importance while John headed towards the PoA to detonate its engine.

The chances of both he and John having the same idea and both arriving at the PoA at the same time are incredibly small.

Swag punks, fuck off!

They would kick a bunch of ass on Halo.

He didn't need an AI on Reach, which was much more hectic than CE was made out to be.

There was a command structure on Reach giving him orders and telling him where to go. He also did have an AI...named Dot...

Your definition of "more hectic" is opinion based and has little credence.

He would probably be sent back to Earth after the events of Installion 04, assuming he survives.

well for one, all the major decisions would have been made by 6, seeing as how he outranked the chief.

  • 08.22.2011 8:48 PM PDT

"I'm sorry man, I don't even know why I got in on this side... SHOTGUN!!!"

That cruiser would've destroyed the ship with it's cannon. Putting his personal feelings aside, that's the main basis as to why Six stayed on the planet. He needed to man the MAC or else Keyes' Pelican would've turned into a Pelican't.

Emile, derp. That was the original plan.

Emile was going to sacrifice himself so the Autumn could escape, but they Zealots killed him, so Six had to stay back.

Finding Halsey's excavation site?

The first coordinates were issued by ONI. "We are precisely where ONI has directed." -Dot
Cortana then revises the coordinates to link to the excavation sight. "By an AI of unknown origin. Whose clearance is well above my own." -Dot

The only person Dot helped, even barely, was Carter.
