That cruiser would've destroyed the ship with it's cannon. Putting his personal feelings aside, that's the main basis as to why Six stayed on the planet. He needed to man the MAC or else Keyes' Pelican would've turned into a Pelican't.

Did you even read the thread?

well for one, all the major decisions would have been made by 6, seeing as how he outranked the chief.

True, ha.

Yep, despite this alternate storyline, I'd still pretend Emile was killed regardless. My explanation was the low framerate of the cutscene hindered him from turning around to face Zealot number deux. Mad?

Oh, and realistically, what could've he done anyways? He spent 1.5 seconds shrugging off the dead Zealot's corpse and saying a few words, a second and a half would've have saved him from his fate haha.

I'm too much of a realist at times.

Remember those times when we all had something better to be doing, but didn't do it? Those were good times. Gooood times

Would anyone else enjoy seeing an alternate storyline in which six went with Keyes, lived and went to Halo with the Chief?

Low framerates AND low-res textures ... Jeez, Bungie cut a lot of corners, didn't you?

Every fictional user alive would complain about that and say it's not Cannon. (Even though it really isn't Cannon in the first place)

Hold it right there.

Hello. Name's Brian. Look, if you're looking for a flame war with me, just open up the Flood and write up some not-nice things about religion and I'll bring my nukes to the party.

If you want some other way to contact me, you can forget it.

If you're interested in some of my work, you can check my homepage out.

Assuming all of the debatable canon is set to be true regardless of plotholes and Six manages to escape with Keyes, it'd come down to two things. Either the two would become a duo of unbeatable Spartans and make that CE 2 Co-op Campaign a reality. Then moving on throughout the trilogy, eventually joining the Arbiter into a best trio of kickassery ever. That, or Six would die cheaply in the pod crash or killed by the Flood.

JVO

Regardless of Six outranking the Chief Six was a Spartan-III so he's still the weaker link and probably would've died eventually like the rest of Noble Team.

Not necessarily. Spartan-IIIs aren't that much weaker than IIs, and Six knows this. He's not some bubbling idiot to go around trying to preform the same up-close stunts the Chief does. Why do you think he's almost always carrying a DMR around in the official cinematics? lol

Old school Bungie, born and raised,
In the Septagon is where I spend most of my days.
Relaxin', maxin', posting all cool,
Talking about Halo, life and some school.
Got in one little argument, and the mods got scared,
they said "You're gonna get banned and your member title'll be bare!"

Six could have been more heavily involved with the defense of the command station on Halo. Perhaps he could have talked Antonio Silva from taking the Truth and Reconciliation straight to Earth without fully purging the Flood from the ship, completely changing First Strike.

But Silva hated Spartans, so probably not.

They were both in different branches of the UNSC. Six being Army, and the Chief being Navy. Also Master Chief (warning spoilers ahead) already had priority orders which would give him command authority should I invoke it. (And yes I know his orders had nothing to do with Alpha halo, I'm just saying it would be possible for him to do it)

Also the UNSC forces on Alpha halo were commanded by Major Silva, and Captain Keyes respectively. Six wouldn't have command either way.

-blam!- Was that actually blammed out? Or did I just type it? You'll never know.

Sixy and Chief take Manhattan!

Hello! You may also know me as Ijnekono. How you have made your way here I do not know, but welcome. (:

Six would follow Chief and they would blow up Halo. Six and Chief would proceed through the campaign to the Ark where they blow it up with Arbiter and this time Arbiter AND Chief are lost in space while Six goes off with the covys. Six launches a rescue mission where he reunites with Chief and Arbiter in Halo 4.

Lol....
However even that chief has lower rank than six...the six couldnt order chief...six hadnt even had command of his team...he wasnt assigned to lead anyone...unlike chief...
I also think that SPARTANS II are stronger than III.

  • 08.22.2011 10:37 PM PDT

remember Jun is still alive, how cool would it be if Jun sent the rescue mission for Master Chief then became the unbeatable trio

I like the AI thing but Cortana already chose noble six, so maybe Cortana would have gone with him, in that case the entire storyline could be changes

  • 08.22.2011 10:56 PM PDT

If six went with keyes, than he would have killed the arbiter before he learned that he was a ally.

When did she choose him ? You mean to escort her to a ship a few miles away ?

I lol'd at the absurd miscommunication that occurs whenever dibbs post something. Perhaps his brain is so highly evolved that he can no longer clearly communicate with lesser life forms, even among his own species.

He would have died.

He lacked an AI which effectively guided John all throughout the events on Alpha Halo and, had he somehow survived until the forward base was established, would have been off trying to complete another mission of vital importance while John headed towards the PoA to detonate its engine.

He didn't need an AI on Reach, which was much more hectic than CE ever was.
There was a command structure on Reach giving him orders and telling him where to go. He also did have an AI...named Dot...

Your definition of "more hectic" is opinion based and has little credence.

Auntie Dot did NOTHING for Noble Six. Give me one instance where Dot guided Six.
If you could ignore the entire point and get hung up on irrelevant details some more that would be great.

Six would not have had Cortana, thus he would have been out of the loop since the beginning of the level the Library. How do you think he would have gotten the memo to get to the Autumn? How do you think he would have survived essentially alone?

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

There would be a lot of -blam!- tension between the two...
