A while back, somebody posted something about getting banned from one of BFM's racing servers for no good reason. Anyway, it reminded me of this little prank I used to play in their servers. I find the BFM server rules to be absolutely ridiculous myself, and some time ago, whenever I was bored I'd pop in and do some little thing to annoy them. I'd do anything that would disrupt their precious little race: flout their "no camping" and "no kill-chasing" rules, drive around without getting checkpoints (to the great consternation of my gunner), etc. It might sound petty or immature, but if you've ever played on their servers, I think you'll agree that they deserved it.
The way I used to screw with them on Gephyraphobia, though, was so brilliant that I like to think it approaches the level of art. In fact, everyone should try it at least once. On the bottom level of the bridge, there is a place at each base without a guardrail. It is possible to drive at these spots at full speed, swerve, and jump out at the last instant, sending your warthog tumbling to the bottom of the level. Your warthog, and anyone who happened be in the passenger or gunner seat. Believe me, there is no sight so satisfying in all of Halo as a bewildered BFM admin flying off into space in the back of a warthog, especially after he has just lectured you for (gasp!) killing a member of the opposite team. The greatest thing is, the first time they think it's a mistake. By the second time, they realize something fishy is going on, but they don't know which person's doing it to them. It's the perfect crime!
Okay, now everyone do it yourselves. I guarantee you'll laugh your ass off or your money back.
