if you have seen mike miller's vids this is his masterpiece

Legend 2 is 7:36 long, 28.6 mb big, in QuickTime format... and contains some of the most balls-to-the-wall gameplay I've seen.

id hate to meet him in multiplayer

A bit better. He's right around the peak of Halo goodness on campaign. You really can't get much better than that, at least I don't play much better than that. There were a few areas that were a little dry in this movie, he could have come out of some situations with a lot less damage, which impresses me more than going in and killing everything.

If you want to watch the utter peak of Halo playing, watch Cody Miller's Library run in the Going Nowhere Fast competition. The Library, on Legendary, in just over 20 minutes, without dieing. Now, I can do it without dieing, but it'll take me a good hour plus. he does what has to be the best run of them all, and the one that certainly demonstrates the most familiarity with a level. And, it's the whole level, instead of just a few snippits of the best parts.

All respect to Mike Miller, he's got skills, but his videos are just snippits of battle, parts where he goes in loaded and comes out almost dead. There's no way he could play a whole level like that. I really wish I had broadband so I could make some movies of my 1337 skillz.

P.S. That grenade at the end isn't just a testament to skill, but a testament to raw patience. He probably did that take a hundred times or more.

Well, I've got to say: I really enjoyed the first one more. The original Saliva track used (click click boom) was much better for the action mood, and the outtake track (Surrender) was more comedic for the occasion. The clips were more professional, showing full sequences rather than shorter clips, done more skilled than that, and generally fit together in the atmosphere better. Still a great movie, nonetheless, but follows the general trend of sequels.

In reply to the Rip Saw's comment: this movie is more showmanship and entertainment than a demonstration of skill (although without skill it would be very poor). So, yes, the guy in the Library video may have been more skilled, but you can't really make a direct comparison between the two movies.
