Am I the only one who thinks that Bungie just isn't as awesome as it used to be?

  • 08.23.2011 12:24 PM PDT

cars, girls & cake all day everyday

In what sense?

  • 08.23.2011 12:25 PM PDT

Watch This.

I think so.

Bungie better not appeal to younger gamers.

F**K MONEY, your fans got you where you are so stick with that.

There's my 2 cents.

Hello! You may also know me as Ijnekono. How you have made your way here I do not know, but welcome. (:

Yeah, their next game better not leave out the audience they drew with Halo.
Either way though, I will still buy it because I'm pretty sure the people there are good people dedicated to making great games.

They just seem to care less about making games with really small details that make us remember the game. Take halo 3 and halo Reach. 3 had the weird monkey people and oodles of glitches but Reach is just... bleh.

What gives you any indication they would do something like that... Every single one of the Halo games is rated M.

They were under the whip of Microsoft, now they are running free.

Case and point: don't worry about it. Girls start getting boobies pretty soon, and then you'll have plenty of other things to think about. Being an Inheritor is not a life goal.

So what you're saying is, I don't want anyone else to be fans and why would a business want money? Did you check your logic before posting?

I wouldn't say Bungie is any different.

Remember they are not making another 'game'. Aerospace I thought was about just helping other developers and giving them a push to get them going. So no new games from just Bungie i don't think.

Microsoft was pushing them in Halo 3 too. So what is your point?

No, I'm pretty sure they are making another game. Aerospace is just something cool they worked on as well.

I could be completely wrong though.

No, you're correct. They're making a new game. They are making a new universe. It's rumored to be called Destiny. How do people not know this by now?!

xplode441 I think he was raging because of the 12 year olds you always find in halo matchmaking. I admit they are annoying but you have to start somewhere and I would rather have a Halo noob then a CoD noob.

Well I get all my Bungie news from here and I haven't seen a post anywhere about that. Wish they would have kept using this as just a Bungie news center at least.

That under the same pressure they make two completely different levels of detail and quality?

Bad luck, mate. There was lots of discussion about it right after the ViDoc Release.

If you're passionate about the thing you're talking about, I'll always lend an ear.

Well, when you reach that level of awesomeness, it can only go downhill from there.

I think it peaked around 01-08ish.

I did. All I'm saying is that they really went down hill on reach in my opinion. Lets just agree to disagree.

I was away form the forum during that time. So yea I'm out of the loop by a lot.

Well while I don't agree with the glitches part (most glitches are not intentional...) The only issue I have with Reach is that it did lack the sort of subtlety that games like Halo 3 and Halo 1 had. It needed more fun easter eggs, secret areas and unlockable skulls... :[

They've got it going with that whole B.O.B. helmet shenanigans going on, though. So that's good.

Yo Halo53, I'm real happy for you and I'ma let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best bungie.net profiles of all time. OF ALL TIME!

Bungie is obviously still trying very hard though. They could have rested on their laurels and just done this Aerospace thing but they're continuing to do what they love and give us, what I'm sure will be, amazing games to play.
