What was the code we used to have to clor text. I have a site that uses the same code, and can't remember it at all.

You can't use color on Bungie.net anymore. It's probably because it takes to long to load pages when everything's all colorful.

Or even because people abused it. Plus, a randomly coloured webpage is more distracting than a more consistent one.

Yes yes this I know... but It's for a different site. Does anyone remember the old code for it?

TEXT

You can replace the bits in bold as appropriate. There are a number of colour names you can use, such as red, green, and gold, but you can also use HEX code (#000000 = black, for example).

I would have liked the option of having colored words, but I can see how it was abused by the "trolls" of Bungie.

Hey Psyched... are you English?

I remember always writing or whatever and then having to go back and change it on a site sometime, it may have been here, back in the day...

Yup, details in my profile.

I used to do that a lot when I started HTML coding -- it's something that you just have to get accustomed to.

I do believe that soe people started to impersonate moderators by using the white text. Another reason that it has been gotten rid of? possibly.

Actually, at the time the color codes were stripped away, moderators didn't have white text.
