"Whatever exists, whatever in creation exists without my knowledge exists without my consent. These anonymous creatures may seem little or nothing in the world. Yet the smallest crumb can devour us. Any smallest thing beneath yon rock out of men's knowing. Only nature can enslave man and only when the existence of each last entity is routed out and made to stand naked before him will he be properly suzerain of the earth."

I made this account on the day it says under my avatar, but haven't been active here since around late May of 2005.

I was first here in early 2000 with the name cmwak1. I lost my name due to b.net problems where a few lost there names. Restarted with cmwak1 and then last year had someone change my name to scruss as it is now. So its been a while, ive seen lots of changes in this place, some bad some good.

Bungie.net did not have a login feature until after 2001 after once again... relaunching a website built for the community...

Are you guys positive? i do legitamitely remember being on or around the site in or around 99 or 2000. Maybe im losing my mind idk, maybe it was some other forum but i was almost sure it was here. I did lose that first account and restarted it, i suppose the year is obviously in question lol. And i do remember being here a while before the halo 2 announcement trailer was released, hmm i suppose it is plausible for me to have stumbled on this site in 2002.

Before 2001, bungie.net was a Myth site. It had the Myth multiplayer stats and leaderboards. You could only join if you had a Myth or Myth II CD key.

And there weren't even forums in 2001. The Underground was made in 2002.

Alright so if what reginko says is correct there were no forums in 99 or 2000. I remember posting somewhere but obviously it wasn't here lol. I do remember well enough to know i was here before the halo 2 announcement trailer for sure. Before that is questionable. I guess thank you sir reginko for correcting me, so i guess i should start looking for a forum with a name floating around from 99 or 2000 lol.

And I think I accidentally blacklisted someone.

Crap. why did the Reply button move over there?

Same as the Barron, maybe slightly before.

To digress:

One thing that bothers me, is that everyone has always nit-picked on Barron's posts when he makes a spelling mistake... but the fact that he's a bad speller smacks everyone in the face when you see his name.

;-)

I'll be the first to admit, if I didn't have dmb's little spell check feature installed, or if I didn't have Word, there would be a steady supply of slight mistakes. I just type so damn fast, you know.

Mourne not your comrades who must dwell / too strong to strive -

I've been coming here since May or June 2004. My email account died, so I ended up creating the account you see now. I was pretty much a ghost back then, anyways.

Though Reiginko may not be a Moderator anymore, I think he deserves the title of Bungie.net Keeper of Lore.

Yeah. Then they could give him a special ability. Whenever he wants to post lore, he clicks a button, and his text turns purple (or an even better/more ridiculous color). That way you would have advance warning that school is in session.

Welcome. The answer would have to be a matter of opinion. I don't think it is, but to really answer your question, you need to define what is middle temperature. Then we can determine if it is indeed cold or if it is hot.

I first joined in late '03, then I figured out how to delete my account on the date this account was created. The funny thing was that I wasn't trying to delete it, it just sort of happened.

I started frequenting the bungie.net around 2002 sometime. At the time i was in my fear of forums phase. Mostly I read the updates, later I spent time looking for info on Halo2. I only came around maybe once a month (or every three). Then Halo2 came out and I got a girlfriend, which caused me to stop visiting the site for over a year. Last august I became interested in making video games, which made this site more attractive. I got my first b.net account and started being active in the community around September 2005. Then I lost the account, found it, decided I didn't want it, got a new one, and here I am.

I like B.net. I think it deserves the capital letter.

Oh yes.

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC
