Do you know what kind of hat I'm wearing?

A party hat; you don't get one. An honor will this party be, a party in your honor, for your honor. Some of Tfear's personal guards are going to be there. You'll be introduced shortly.

Prepare to die.

We all know that the biggest problem a spartan faces is water.
They can survive the vacuum of space for a while, but exposure to water seems to kill them. (except mark V)

So why did Halsey/ Oni didn't solve this? It should have been on their priority list.

After some research I found some evidence of a prototype armor ability that lets spartans increase their buoyancy.
Concept art.

So, my question is: Why didn't Bungie implement this? This would be an opportunity for some amazing ground-air-water battles and would have solved a lot of cannon errors.

Would it have been too overpowered?

Wow, that was interesting.

By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

Why is this guy not in charge of Halo?! :P

YES

United Armed Forces

This is amazing, I are amaze.

Someone give this man a cookie.

Remember Elk

Would that be enough? The water pressure seems to kill them a bit over waist deep, so they would have to float a bit higher than I believe the prototype would let them.

Why don't they just learn to swim

they drown because of gameplay reasons...
And in halo 3 in siera 117 you can actualy go underwater and survive...
Actualy spartans are fuly capable of surviving under water but there are 2 other things...
1.Limited air.
2.They wont be able to swim because they are to heawy!

Yes, Spartans can go in water for a limited time ... but only in shallow water. you can fully submerge your spartan in forge world and on longshore if you stand on a submerged object. (covered by +/- 1 m water height)

I've calculated that the suit can withstand a pressure of 0.01 Mega Pa.

The armor ability would prevent complete submersion so there won't be much pressure from the water.

So it's an AA?

“Strange,” mused the Director, as they turned away, “strange to think that even in Our Ford’s day most games were played without more apparatus than a ball or two and a few sticks and perhaps a bit of netting. imagine the folly of allowing people to play elaborate games which do nothing whatever to increase consumption.”

The Black Chapter!

No way, floating is for n00bs. You die in water because that means that only the skilled players can survive, by not falling in.

It's BKs like OP that are killing Bugnie.

We take your unwanted prisoners, then we execute them....

mabye it would make the armour bulky and also that it weighs a half a ton but it would be cool do float

1. Even with their weight they can eaisly swim...

2. The gel layer of mark V/VI would like to have a word with you.
