So if there is a discussion about backgrounds, or religion is brought up as part of a discussion in a private group, and someone wants to mention that they are Jewish, they are going to be filtered?
Not only is that one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard, but now you'd start to offend some people by saying their religion or ethnicity is inappropriate. What's next, censoring the word black?
This is pretty ridiculous, and a terrible idea. Filters are meant to punish people who inappropriately use language, not to prevent intelligent people who can handle the responsibility of using words from having reasonable discussion. Not only is your suggestion a bad one, I'm sure that some people would be highly offended"What if I'm -blam!- and I mention I'm -blam!-? But the word is censored because apparently being -blam!- is offensive. "
I am being ironic to prove a point. Your irony seems lost on most, so maybe you should try another tactic. Like, for example, being direct and forthcoming.
