Subject: Halo reach, and no scarab?

When halo 2 introduced the scarab it was fun exciting and challenging, it had elites everywhere and it was close quarter fun. Halo 3 showed the love in the scarab by bringing it in more then once and whith its huge explosion it was wonderful. Halo reach, i felt like it should of happened i mean the scarab is amazing and awesome to destroy but even when they showed the scarab here and there, and was life-less, it had nothing to it; it wouldnt shoot at you and it was boring and it only came during the mission: "the Package" and i was greatly disaapointed. Does anyone have any ideas as to why or do you just want to say how cool the scarab is? either way it doesnt matter. I just wanted to share my love of the scarab.

You have no idea how revolting I can be.

DeeJ's Challenge

I have a feeling that the scarab wasn't integrated into the Reach levels as much because we were going to drive it. After the "Drive the Scarab!" level got cut, there probably wasn't enough time to add in a 'real' scarab encounter.

Holy -blam!-! A scarab run. wtf bungie? why didn't you put that. That would've been the most epic thang that ever existed!

It was going to take place through the glassed New Alexandria, as well. How amazing would that have been? Very, I tell you.

Vengeance only leads to an ongoing cycle of hatred.

The whole Reach campaign was fail.

It could have been so much more... The plot holes ruined it more than anything for me. :/

That would have single handedly made Reach the best Halo ever.

It's such a bummer they couldn't finish it...

I think they also kind of made it a low priority because they didn't want Noble Six's accomplishments to overshadow those of the Chief... also, because they might have wanted Reach to feel like more of a struggle.

They didn't have a big enough budget because of Micro$oft. They cut out that level, ridable moas, and running up the Guta's spine and shoving a grenade in its mouth. They didn't have a big enough effect on the Campaign's plot, so yeah.
