Subject: Reader Option iOS 5 and Bungie.net

Battle is the most magnificent competition in which a human being can indulge. It brings out all that is best; it removes all that is base. All men are afraid in battle. The coward is the one who lets his fear overcome his sense of duty. Duty is the essence of manhood.

Apple is releasing there new software update, iOS 5 this fall. With the new Reader Option, you will be able to view the webpage without clutter making it faster and more versatile to use.

Will the new Reader option make it easier to use the forums on Bungie.net and would Bungie.net work even faster and even better to use in Safari?

Food for Thought.

I guess we'll find out soon enough.
Whether it does or doesn't, however, I'll still use my current browser.

Dianna Agron is the epitome of perfection.

Quinntology.

I have a Droid Incredible that I use the Dolphin Browser with and beyond a little bit of slowness if there is a lot of text on the page, it works perfectly. My iTouch that is running iOS 4 is not as lucky. The one thing I love about Dolphin is the auto-reformat whenever you zoom in on a page. If the new Safari on the iOS 5 devices do that, I'll be happy.

Granted, I still see nothing about them running Flash. Which disappoints me greatly...

Sadly enough, check this sad bit of news out.

I'll still use my current browser.

Also, Apple will probably fail.

Good smart phones do this already, which makes using forums incredibly easy anyway.

I'm kinda glad he's gone, maybe we'll see some price drops.

A Web browser developer should never require or expect website developers to modify their content to better suit a specific browser (see IE6 and earlier for the most legendary examples). There are Web standards for a reason; if Apple wants to add some proprietary feature to mobile Safari, that's fine, but that feature needs to be fully self-contained, asking for no additional expenditure of time on the part of webmasters to retool or "optimise" existing or new content to play nice with whatever Apple has devised.

True, there shouldn't be any forced-upon change.
