Subject: Where did Jun go after escorting Halsey?

What a waste....

Didn't Frank O' Connor say in the commentary that he lived?

In the backstory trailer for defient map pack, you see Jun dead on highlands, which is near castle base.

Jun is dead.

Umm, no you don't. Point it out here (Youtube Defiant Map Pack Trailer) if what you say is true, which it isn't.

how do you know that he didn't get off from it somehow,

This is the best example of poor grammar I have ever seen.

So Jun is going to violate his orders to defend Halsey at all costs? Yeah, that makes sense.

1.maybe dr.halsey died and he left
2.they both left

-blam!- you straight stupid.

But in the bonus pages for Fall of Reach, I thought it implied the Arbiter offed Jun. Either way his ass was grass.

Hey, now!

This is officially either the greatest or worst thing to ever happen to Star Wars. I'm going with the former.

We don't know what happened, as there is not a canon source providing definitive proof one way or another.
(A Fist Full of Arrows is not canon. It is a fan project and nothing other than a fan project.)

Jun's absence in First Strike seems to suggest he died, but it can easily mean just the opposite as well.

Until we get a canon story about what happens to Jun, his fate will be unresolved.

It was another Spartan, Sheila, years before Reach. (2544, to be precise.)

I am Field Master Avu Med 'Telcam, Servant of the Abiding Truth, and I have many brothers.

A god who creates tools is still a god. It is not for us to impose qualifications upon the divine or presume to guess its intentions.

If he isn't with Halsey and the other spartans in the Micro Dyson Sphere, which he isn't, he is dead.

He -blam!- died for the millionth time already.

show me a link, where someone from bungie or 343 states that he is dead

It's the only logical explanation. 343 Industries says First Strike is still canon and since Jun is not present in it, he is dead.

Except Bungie stated that he is alive and well. So... yeah...

OT: Went to kick some ass? Maybe went to try and find the rest of Noble.

Bungie has absolutely no credibility, not because 343 decides what is canon or not, but because of how badly that slapped, screwed and scorched the canon, still keeping that arrogantly laid-back attitude like they don't give a damn.

-.- *faceFlood*

None of that has happened at all, don't be ignorant! TFoR still happens, and that is the only book that Reach even comes close to completely disagreeing with. And I thought you said that the books didn't matter?

Sure got heated in here for a discussion on something that cant be confirmed. Anyways Jun wont be mentioned in any books because following their canon, S-IIIs werent created till after Reach, theyre inclusion in the game is kinda canon breaking on that point. (If anything the Reach S-IIIs are a completely different project from the GoO S-IIIs) So going off the game, the only likely outcomes are 1) Jun is killed in the defense of Halsey; Halsey escapes. 2) They both escape; Jun is reassigned to an unnamed mission. 3) Jun is seperated from Halsey; Jun gets captured/goes MIA (might be detailed in an upcoming book/game/dlc?);Halsey escapes. Im not sure there are many other possibilities...
