Maybe he didn't eat anything. That or I'm sure he has some MRE's handy.

He was in there from nov. 3 or 6th to nov. 13th or 17th. There was no human food, I'm guessing alien food probably wasnt good for him. He was in there for weeks. So my theory is hey he killed a lot of covenant in there rite? I think he ate them. He probably barbecued brute beef, grunt stew. Hunter worm soup. Fried jackal chicken. Yum. So what's your theory?

What is with your weird Covenant-eating obsession man?
Has your version of MC been playing too much Fallout or something?

Probably MRE's, Covenant rations, or nothing, he had to hide.
Eating enemy soldiers is incredibly stupid and therefor it is unlikely the Chief would do it....

Signatures are for squares.

People can go weeks without food, you know?

I'm sure he didn't eat much, but he probably had some rations and forced himself to eat some Covenant food.

After two weeks without food, you will be incredibly weak.

Not the case for Spartans.

-blam!- Was that actually blammed out? Or did I just type it? You'll never know.

Probably stacked all the Covies corpses he could find and fried'em up with some plasma weapons. Ate like a king.

Cryo sleep. Need no food.
Pretty sure going in cyro sleep inside a enemy controlled ship is a pretty dumb idea.

We’re flawed because we want so much more. We’re ruined because we get these things and wish for what we had.

To much Fallout? No such thing! You could never play to much Fallout.

The Chief is augmented right? So why would he ever need to eat?

Slipspace isn't instantaneous. The time between The Dreadnought jumping and arriving at Earth was about 2 weeks.

Though Forerunner ships do jump a lot faster I've heard, the actual official starting date supports the 2-week slipspace time.

Although, I've additionally read that the actual time that they spend in slipspace tends to either be much shorter or much longer than the actual traveling time. So who knows?

First of all, stop with the whole covenant eating thing, I really can't tell if you're trolling or just really stupid.

Second, chiefs armor can well....recycle waste creating water and the such.

Maybe he tried a food nipple or had rations of food left.

It makes me wonder, where he could have possibly be carring the fod rations or ammo for his dual Smgs.
I took a look at the halo upprising comics, and it doesn't really show anywhere on any external part of his armor where he culd've been carrying anything.
Don't spartans need like 5 large prtien meals everyday just to keep their strength up ?

  • 08.26.2011 9:05 AM PDT

It's chief the same dude that doesn't sleep at all unless he's knocked out. I wouldn't be surprised if Spartans(him) are able to go months without food.
