Well several things that I noticed:

Three little dots appear under the rectical(gun pointer)
You can jump way higher
The screen after the button was pushed for the door was the "Blue Screen Of Death"(M$ error message)

if you noticed anything else just point it out here

Yeah, I was wondering what the lil' button is under the reticle. I thought maybe it was "Press X to reload" But it was yellow. Hmm, maybe we'll find out at the update.

Yea, the blue screen was very cute. All those other things have been noted by myrself, but others probably will find this interesting.

That yellow dot had a key inside it. That indicates that your weapon has locked on to the target. It was shown with the rocket launcher.

Blue dot symbol=need to reload
Yellow=low ammo
Red=no ammo

From the Gameplay vid @ Gamespot
Red flag=enemy has the flag
Yellow=flag is dropped somewhere

Hope this helps.

Yeah, I thought that the icons were really cool. Frankie mentioned them in an update a while back, and I think the results are great. Can't wait til more hi-res screenies/videos.

the guy mentioned they will be playing single capture the flag at e3. meaning there will be a mode which there will be multiple flags to collect, sort of like a treasure hunt with guns.(whoever can collect the most and bring back to their base wins)

I think what he meant by that, was that it wasn't normal 2-flag CTF. Meaning that regular CTF was still in the game, but this was single flag. I don't think there will be a "treasure hunt" as you described, but you never know.

I've never played, but I've heard that it's a ton of fun. I should try it sometime.

Thanks for the research. The screen is too small to tell very clearly for me anyways.

It's cool. I have broadband, so I have the hi-res everything. ;) It really helps with identifying these sorts of things.

I'd have to differ on my view of the icons.

Blue "dot dot dot" Icon -- Need to Reload
Yellow Rocket Icon -- Rocket Fired and locked on.
Red "Rocket with a stripe across it" Icon -- Rocket Fired and not locked on.

?Red Icon with a Flag: Red team has the Flag?

The Rocket one's I managed to figure out from the demo. When he fires the locked on rocket into Wort's worthog it has a yellow icon pop up the moment the rocket leaves the tube. Later when he's point blank shooting at the warthog he doesn't have time to lock on and he get's the Red rocket with a stripe through it... just like a no-smoking sign.

I've got broadband too, I just can't pick the symbols out. Ah well, I'll be watching it every day until the next one, so I'll most likely eventually see it. *I was trying to make them out from the demo from yesterday, not the new multi action video. I can see them in that. Oh, joy!*

Well, I've put quite a bit of time into this, and I think I'm right here. If you look at the video around 4:40 and watch for a bit, he does the lock-on, but it only shows the blue symbol. I'm going to review the red and yellow parts now, and I'll update this post with my conclusion. You could still be right. ;)

UPDATE: Yeah, if you go to 5:21 on the video, when he does the second lock-on and it shows the yellow icon, right after he reloads, he has only two rockets left. At this point, the top part of the ammo counter turns orange, just like it did in the first game when you had low ammo. And if you continue watching, after the red one appears, he's out of rockets. I'm thinking that I'm right, but maybe not. Can you dispute anything I've said here? Not trying to flame you, just trying to figure it out.

Also, if you look closely, it's not a rocket in the red-symbol, rather just a bullet. At least that's what it looks like to me.

You're probably right upon reflection. It seems to me they just threw up that red icon a little early. While he still had a couple of rockets left. Having the "no ammo" show up while you still have ammo in your gun and not in your reserve is new. That's going to take some getting used to.

Yeah, there is technically still one rocket inside the gun when the "no-ammo" symbol comes up....but I guess that's alright with me. I like the new symbols better than the text in the first game, much more intuitive.
