13.72 billion years in the making.

On December 1st, 2012, I met Neil deGrasse Tyson. I shook the man's hand, and even made him laugh. Not much else to do with my life now.

Do a couple of three-day's over long periods of time matter?

Also, does the severity of the temporary bans determine the amount of bans needed to warrant a perma-ban?

I just got back from a three-day, and I'm concerned about my here-and-there mistakes/bans/warnings and how they add up. I don't want this account to be permanently back-listed.

Help?

And, coup four server...why you no up?

Coup sucks.
If you keep getting banned for the reason then the bans will extend in time the more numerous they get, I believe.

The ban I last received was a, in my opinion, less serious offence.

"Didn't encourage discussion," I believe it said.

Yeah, IMO that ban reason is bullcrap, too. Doesn't get enforced as hard as it should...but I don't think you can land a perma from that...unless you're pulling a spam attack.

Also, what do warnings do, do they add up to the equivalent of a ban?

Warnings are just warnings, and I'm pretty sure you only get one of those before you get banned. Sometimes you won't even get a warning.

I've gotten 3 warnings without being banned.

@Helveck

Just an Average Joe...

From my understanding, perma-bans are extremely rare. The odd short ban here and there will likely pose no threat towards you becoming exiled.

But if you're that worried, start following the rules a little closer. That way, you won't feel like your looking over your shoulder all the time in fear of being permanently banned.

Please stop complaining about the 'death of a loved one' it's my job. They probably deserved it anyways. Here's a warning, if you keep making pentagrams out of the neighbors livestock I will personally come to your house and kill everyone you love. Now leave me alone, I got to get back to work.

does getting a warning affect my rank/future rank?

No, we're talking about bans on Bungie.net, not in Halo: Reach. That goes in the Halo: Reach Forum. You could try 343i's forums.

It's a case by case. Let's say you post a meatspin link, and that's a perma no matter how long you've been here. If you just act like a troll all the time, I don't know bout a perma but it'll go up from 3, 7, 14, a month, etc.
