Leave me alone in space.

From what i remember Regret's fleet came to earth, then he fled with his fleet still here. Then a day later the whole covenant fleet arrived and started glassing New Mombasa, were they only there or around the earth. Kinda confusing for me.

Not quite. Covenant invaded numerous places such as Cleverland (US), Hong Kong, Antarctica, etc.

They also completely wiped out Australia.

Yeah, the "real" fleet went everywhere.

Thus I refute thee

The went to New Mombassa because they knew exactly where they were going, they might not have necessarily known that the planet was earth but they knew of the portal to the ark and so they went straight to that...

If I am wrong then feel free to correct me but I'm pretty sure this is the case such Truth knew more than we anticipated

"Wake me...when you need me."

In Halo 2, yes. In Halo 3 and Halo 3: ODST no.

You would be the one that's incorrect.

Australia was hit very hard along with many other places on Earth as was noted above by others. Ghosts of Onyx and Halo Uprising clearly confirm this. Keyes' line about "Truth's fleet" only hitting New Mombasa can easily be interpreted as referring to only the detachment of ships that accompany Truth's Dreadnought whilst ships attacking other parts of the world were from different battle groups.

Please dont take it seriously, it was only a joke. Since I am Australian and something like that happening here wouldn't be that good lol

Walk softly, and carry a big midget.

At first it was only New Mombassa, but when the Brutes came to replace the Elites (Just before ODST) I'm guessing they invaded other places then. If not then they would have near the start of Halo 3.

So yeah, other places did get invaded.

Also known as Entropy91
Black Water Ops representative.
See you on the battlefield.

That's where the portal to the Ark was, and the only location of any strategic value to the Covenant on the surface. Fighting elsewhere would have tied up resources and personnel that Regret didn't have.

Also, for the first battle, Regret didn't bring enough ships or troops to secure the entire planet, not considering the fact that Earth was the center of UNSC space. There was also the fact that most of the invading fleet was destroyed as a result of Operation First Strike, and Regret jumped the gun and attacked Earth before the fleet could reassemble.

As for the second battle, fighting is everywhere. Spartan Blue Team is running ops in Antarctica, Cuba, and Mexico, and there is a major battle at Cleveland.

Rev.6-8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

Pretty sure that Chicago was one of the places they invaded
