Well, Cobra. I guess your argument is flat out dead. It's concept art, but why would 343 put this picture up on a public Halo 4 board at HALOFEST? This is an indirect confirmation that the UNSC will play the same role they've played in all Halo games.
I don't know, I don't work for 343. For all we know, this could just be a visual look of the Warthogs that could be in Glasslands and beyond. Either way, it's a violation of canon if the UNSC come into play. As for confirmation, I'll wait until 343 themselves admit the UNSC will play a role in Halo 4.
So you can claim premature victory if you wish, won't bug me.
And what if it is the Everest? That would not contradict anything. For all we know, Medicant Bias' atonement requires a Spartan like the Chief, or at least a human that he explicitly protected, which he did not with Everest. I doubt MB even knows what Everest is.
Hell, say the Everest's crew doesn't know where they are or what the purpose of the LP is. Medicant Bias is not their with them to use them as his atonement. He apparently needs the Chief.
Woah, slow down.. I haven't heard anything called the Everest. Yes, The terminals hint to the chief being special, yes MB needs a reclaimer, who is john, who is specially protected (last terminal in Halo 3). LP i'm guessing refers to the Legendary Planet, so perhaps you're reffering to a ship that arrives by the Legendary Planet that will aid MC and help deliver supplies. Since I just saw that Halo 4 poster with a very large human ship, Everest would make sense. Mt everest is the largest mountain on earth, and since the ship is apparently a prototype, it just may exist in Halo 4. There's no doubt that covie and UNSC forces will make a return. The series would be nowhere without some of those core weapons and vehicles, and 343i knows that gameplay trumps canon. What's the point of a game if it's not fun to play?
On another note, I don't like the new warthog design. The suspension looks ugly, modern (in context, ancient), and looks nothing what the standard Warthog apperas to be. I'm sure I'll get used to the body and turret, but the suspension I would nerf. Seriously, chec out the steering colum! it looks horrendus!
Everest is the flagship of Admiral Cole, who is thought dead. He most likely did a jump after causing a massive explosion, met up with his girlfriends fleet (rebels) then went far from the war to start a farming colony.
