So, instead of using the Forward Unto Dawn as a base camp, it's perfectly alright to link up with a UNSC base and stay there?
I fail to see the difference.
Such a biased statement right there. You're not taking in all of the possibilities regarding the UNSC. Who says we're going to stay at a UNSC base? Why can't it be like Halo 2 or 3? Traveling all over the place? It just shows how unwilling you are to take in what's logical.
Let's look at Halo CE eh?
Went to many different places, but in between most of the missions he was *GASP* At the UNSC base.
Lemme ask this, if he's traveling all the time, how does he restock? How does he rest?
The difference between Alpha Base and camping at the Dawn is simple.
Since it's been said that an evil is threatening the fate of the entire universe, Chief can't afford to stay at the ship sippin' cup'a tea.
In Halo CE, it was on a much smaller scale, not to mention the fact that he had plenty of friendly forces and quick aerial transport.
The last statement is flawed. That's basically taking into question how he made it in Halo 2 and 3.
You seem to completely misunderstand what I mean.
Not "Camp at the forward unto dawn sipping tea and doing nothing."
I mean stop by for resupply of ammo and food, and rest some before continueing his mission.
Also, did I say "Chief would be briefed on the planet before?"
NO I was saying, when chief runs into them, It'd be "Chief, this is where you are at, this is the landscape around her, and here are the threats/resources."
Thus ruining mystery.
