"how do you know the SoF never got back? there are no official ANYTHING on this. in fact, theres more saying it got back. "

25 years travelling at sub-light speed from a destination far outside UNSC space, would get you reletively nowhere. Do you understand how space travel works? It would take hundreds if not thousands of years to reach UNSC space.

if the SoF jumped into deep space, their last known location and and direction would have been documented by any UNSC forces on the ground.

As of halo 2, UNSC are open to a vast covenant controlled space. the covenant didn't just randomly jump to the shield world mind you.

The Flood would have took over the SoF. then the Flood would go to the nearest Human colony. And as i said above, covenant space, cove's would have investigated and been infected, and theres the key: the slipspace drive.

You seriously didn't think about that? *again not trying to be a dick*

will you all just stop and think? none of us are wrong, it just dont make sense to remove the factions

1. There were no ground forces left on the Shield World. The SW exploded.

2. As of Halo 2 Humanity only has Earth and a hand full of Inner colonies left. They aren't going everywhere in any direction.

3. And the Flood didn't infect the SoF, so that is a bad argument,

Face, it, you have no good reason to hate it over "What if..." arguments.

first, the SoF lacked an FTL drive. It would take hundreds or even thousands of years moving at sub-light speeds.

Second, just because the Covenant didn't randomly jump to the shield world doesn't mean that it is in their space. They travelled there after finding artifacts which led them their. given a year or so it could be considered within their area, but it was destroyed in a few days, halting any covenant activity.

Third, even if the Flood were present on the ship, it would still take hundreds if not thousands of years without FTL to get to any known UNSC space. I also highly doubt that the Flood are on the ship. The SoF was only boarded by the Flood once, and all were neutralized. Otherwise they would have been swarming through the ship. Besides that once, the Sof never touched down near any Flood-occupied area.

So what exactly doesn't make sense in the Haloverse?

I'm just trying to be open-minded instead of completely ruling out any posibility of ex-covie races/UNSC appearances in H4 like grey and anyone who agrees with him considering that we don't know enough to make a conclusion.
dude thank you. someone has a brain and uses it! your open minded to ALL the possibilities! I'll listen to you, eff the others. XD

The Halo:Encyclopedia also states the SoF is MIA, case-closed.(Though the Enyclopedia is filled with issues, but this particular fact is not one of those)

What I have learned is that bashing or making rude remarks about your opponent don't help your case. If someone does not understand something correctly, try presenting it in manners that they can. Don't jump from trying to explain it one way to calling them names for not understanding, especially if you have tried no other ways of getting your point across.
