No, those are not War-Sphinx's, they resemble nothing like them.

How In the world can you come up with that statement when all you have to seen is a couple of concept art pictures and a few blurbs?

Idiot.

It's really simple actually. It wouldn't make sense for UNSC to be there at Halo 4. Know why? UNSC is busy with fixing their losses after the war, busy with re colonizing, etc. Also Encyclopedia states that Master Chief was still missing past the 2610s. Also calling me idiot completely disregards your statement, sorry.

There is no point for UNSC to be there as well because it's centered to John's destiny, not UNSC's destiny. Also Mendicant Bias said that he sent John to Forerunners to his atonement. Know what it means? It means that John is being sent to Forerunner planet, possibly unknown to all species currently in Halo Universe.

No. Reach's story and it's creation was restricted by already existing fluff which meant that Bungie had to break and mix it. This is in my eyes the grand reason for having such a disappointing story.

While on H4, Cryptum's and Primordium's new full details open literally a new world to use for story's needs and events. Even though Forerunner saga has quite nice amount of details, it leaves many blurry spots still there and there.

Fate of many races within Forerunner's era is still so unclear, that's it should give happy face for everyone who starts to do assumptions on H4's story.

I agree. But still, it won't make any sense for UNSC to appear at Halo 4's LP (Forerunner planet). In case, refer to my earlier statement on reasons why UNSC wouldn't be there.

Its been suggested the ship is Cole's Everest. Ever consider that?

Currently residing in Sweden, maybe i'll head out to Seattle in a couple of years...

Playing Battlefield 3 (PC) atm, add me on Origin / Battlelog: Entrophee

That's the UNSC Forward Unto Dawn
And it's inside a Shield World...

We're talking about the big ass ship, the first piece of art he shows, entitled "Grandeur"

Look i'm not denying that there is a small posibility it might be another type of shield world.

But please don't jump into conclusions, don't turn your thought and opinions into facts when nothing is confirmed.

Ambusher, fail on your part.

Glasslands will conclude the story of Halsey and the micro-dyson sphere survivors..........

It has already been confirmed to not be Onyx.

I reckon it is the Shield World that was in Halo Wars. You maybe thinking that it was destroyed and rightly so, but remember that they can be rebuilt after the sentinels are triggered by an event. Maybe after Delta Halo placed all of the other Installations in Standby, which also may have triggered the rebuilding of Installation-04.

Dude, it's artificial sun went supernova, it can't be rebuilt unless a new shield world takes it's place.

Yeah, maybe the same type, but it cannot be the same one.

Even then the SW and sphere are nothing alike.

Perhaps that's what happened.

It could be incomplete. Therefore, it would lack the surface layer that makes it look like a planet on the outside.

The surface's of SWs were patchwork's of trillions of Sentinels. I ask you, does the spehre look like a patchkwork of trillions of Sentinels? No.

Also, where would a new SW come from?

Just sayin'. It looks to me like that ship and planet will fit into cannon, though how is still unknown as nothing has been released other than teasers and this.

Ok. I will change a part of what I said earlier. Perhaps the Shield World began creation once the last one was destroyed. Perhaps at the Ark. Then placed through a slipspace portal in the same fashion the Halo Arrays were. Also, in GoO the Sentinels were able to merge together and form different classes. Also, doesn't it say in Onyx that only until the Sentinels detached that they were distinguishable as Sentinels.

BACK ON TOPIC:

Who knows if they're the "Sentinels" we're thinking of? You're thinking of floating machines that try to kill you, or build the forerunner world.

If you've read more than ten books willingly in your life, then you'd realize that "sentinels" can mean something else. Those look like plain buildings that stand "guard" over something, much like you'd have statues "standing guard" over the entrance of a building.

They looked nothing like machines to me, and the forerunners could make anything float. So this shouldn't be a shocker
