What a waste....

Many of you have probably seen the Halo 4 wall video from PAX.

If you notice the 'grandeur' photo, you can see Cryptum-ish structures. And Bornstellar says "The Capital was much more grand then-- far greater then you see now."

Capital, as in the remains of the Forerunner Capital City/Planet? Interesting. I have a theory developing....

By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

The structures on the front of Cryptum are not set on the Capital.

Vengeance only leads to an ongoing cycle of hatred.

What's this video you speak of? Link?

Maybe the Forerunners' new capital. And my theory is growing still.

The capital is not in the shape of a planet and is hundred times bigger than a planet, so I'd assume your guess is wrong. Besides, the capital was smoked by mendicant bias so it's highly unlikely it still stands.

Plekpedia - The most epic site in the history of ever.

Did anyone else also see Halo: Primordium's cover in there?

This exactly.

However, anyone who saw the sequences...was it me, or were those Forerunner Falcos?

Is it possible the Forerunners moved to a new galaxy? And that Mendicant Bias transported John to a new capitol there. The Capitol could utalize shield world-like technology that allows them to have a massive area in the size of a planet. The object seen in the trailer could be simply the planet sized portal into this "new capitol." Chief would be facing his(Humanity/the Milky Way's) past, and a danger could be another race of some sort starting to establish in the galaxy. If it were to beat the Forerunners, then it would spread to the Milky Way and be unstoppable to even the Flood. Pure conjecture of course.

It is possible that if any remaining Forerunners survived the events above the Capital when Mendicant Bias attacked are still alive across different galaxies.

From the books details, it seemed that almost all the Forerunners within the galaxy were called to the Capital to destroy the Installations and defend the Capital.

That rules out any Forerunners within that galaxy.

But, Forerunner civilization spanned across dozens and dozens of galaxies, surely some have survived...

That seems like a big amount of thought for simple teaser trailor.

*Points to previous post above*

I did mention that. Not specifically them leaving the Orion Arm, but I did state they spanned across galaxies.

Well, I doubt the Forerunner-Flood War would be secluded to one galaxy, unless the Forerunners pulled out their own version of the Cole Protocol.

I would assume they would have their own Protocol aside from the Halo Arrays.

I suppose we'll find out in either Primorium or whatever the third book is.
