Could the latest video o concept art of halo 4 be the sole survivors of the purge of Human civilization in Forerunner colonies?

Source:

If this game will be Cryptum and we get to see the Ancient Human Civilization and San 'Shyuum, i will literally jizz. I think those structures shown here are representitave to the Precursor technology. If you look at 1:05 they look like UNSC technology but only more advanced, which points out that the technology could be one of the AHC (The Ancient Human Civilization). Whatever the outcome, just give me master chief and i will be happy! BTW, the concept art looks amazing!

Also, watch this:"The Reclaimer Trilogy").

Does this point out that the precursors and forerunners will be present?

By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

No. Ancient Humanity was devolved, why would they still be around?

They were all de-evolved.

At the close of the Human-Forerunner war, humanity had only 1 planet left, Charum Hakkor. After 50 years, the Forerunners took the planet back. Most of the humans were dead, what was left of them were fragmented into various sub-species, devolved and taken back to Erde-Tyrene.

Are you seriously suggesting that even in a few Ancient Humans remained, they'd be able to survive the firing of the Halos and sustain a viable population for 100,000 years?

Yeah... I don't think so...

Yeah... I don't think so...

I would if some forerunners took pity on them and put them on the ark and de-ervolved the rest???

I'm most likely 99.9 % wrong though...

Yeah... they wouldn't do that. They hated humanity, it was only in the final years of the Forerunner-Flood war they softened towards them because of the Librarian. And that was 10,300 years after humanity was devolved.

What if they were in a shield world, much like the one MC is drifting towards?

Pretty sure they weren't invented yet.

The Shield Worlds hadn't even been constructed then.

Note: All Precursors are dead, save one.

Edit: And we do not know yet if it's a Shield World the Master Chief is headed towards.

And given the connection the Prisoner has with the Gravemind, we know that they turn things against one-another by lying and manipulating them.

"Find where the liar hides, so that I may place my boot between his gums!" - Rtas 'Vadum

It would be sort of interesting to see what would happen if they found a small group (Or even a lone survivor) of ancient Humans, perhaps in suspended animation on a ship adrift. How would they react towards the UNSC, the Covenant, the Covenant war, what the Forerunners did to Humanity and to any Forerunners that may happen to show up? And the impact that they would have in a post Halo 3 world as well.

I'm not talking about an entire civilization here hiding it out in a shield world though. No more than a ship crew's worth in number or something.
