I've always wondered what/who that was and never bothered to find out or was never told. What/who is Anonymous User (Deleted)? Is it someone who's accout no longer exists, or was perma-banned? Can someone tell me? Just curious.

Mourne not your comrades who must dwell / too strong to strive -
Within each steel-bound coffin of a cell, / Buried alive;
But rather mourne the apathetic throng / The cowed, and the meek -
Who see the world’s great anguish and its wrong / And dare not speak.

Someone just asked this pretty recently, and I believe the answer is that they are accounts that no longer exist. After a ceratin amount of time where a member is inactive, the account is automatically deleted, and that is what you see. I'm not 100% sure, but that is what I read earlier.

when a user doesn't go on sign into bnet for six months (correct me if i'm wrong), then they are deleted fromt he database and become anonymous user (deleted).

Its either six months or a year.

I hear all kinds of theories on the inactivity perios. I've heard everywhere from 2-6 months. I guess we'll never know will we? Unless someone puts forth the effort to PM Achronos and ask....

Wait. If I remember correctly, someone did, and Achronos had forgotten.

I see. Fansenating. Someone should PM Achronos and ask. I'm too lazy to do it but the public would appreciate it if someone did it.

$x='print chr(36),"x=",chr(39),$x,chr(39),";\n",$x; ';
print chr(36),"x=",chr(39),$x,chr(39),";\n",$x;

I work at Microsoft. I have nothing to do with Halo and nothing I say is "the official word".

We have a winner. Six months is the time it takes before the name can be reused.
