For the past like 2 weeks or so, whenever the website was updated, I've began to notice that the text in the footer had been moving away from it's location. I wasn't going to say anything because I figured it was a common problem and it would be fixed quickly, but it hasn't, and I haven't noticed anyone else report the bug yet.

Here's a picture, my page is scrolled all the way down, and you can see the footer text is completely gone from the bottom, but instead is moved up, thus overlapping someones post.

I turned off all my scripts and it's still happening.

This bug can get VERY annoying, sometimes it will completely block out someones post, not letting me read it at all. This bug only seems to happen in Threads, and won't move it's location if I'm in the index or any other page.

That's weird, I use Chrome and haven't ever had that happen to me.

It's a metaphor for the 07s' lack of identity. too old to be newfag, yet too new to be oldfag, we wander b.net in search of a home, forever trying to be something we are not.

This has happened to me a few times as well, and I don't have any scripts involved and I use Firefox. It seems to just be a page load error, I'm not sure much can be done about that.

I think something can, seeing as never happened before the site update. It seems interesting, because I tried to make this happen on Opera and FF and it just wouldn't, but it happens every time on Chrome. :/

One of you even said it doesn't happen on Chrome, so I'm very confuzzled.

“Oh, it’s a little bit of everything, it’s the mountains, it’s the fog, it’s the news at six o’clock, it’s the death of my first dog, it’s the angels up above me, it’s the song that they don’t sing, It’s a little bit of everything.”

I thought it was a problem with coup so I didn't mention it (it could be a problem with Chrome).

EDIT: So it also happens with Firefox, nevermind my last theory.

Just another of the many reasons why chrome sucks. Firefox FTW. Although that's a very strange occurence, maybe a script/addon is making it happen.

Key

Only ever happened to me once as of yet. btw, firefox sucks hard. Crashes all the time. Next to unusable imo. Chrome is the -blam!-.

You imply a level of control over Halo: Reach matchmaking that we no longer have. Or, in your vernacular, it isn't our shiznit anymore.

I also use Chrome and this has happened once or twice for me.

I like Chrome more because of the cleaner look overall, better looking bookmarks, and better extensions (apps).

I hate you unless I'm drunk.

I posted this a week ago as well, no answers were given.

No scripts running, cached cleared etc etc.

All the normal fixes.

Still doing it.

I've only ever seen it happen when I'm browsing on my iPod, and even then it's rare.
It seems it affects all browsers, but only certain people/certain threads, since I use Firefox with quite a lot of scripts yet I've never had it happen to me while using it.

I've also had it happen on my phone when browsing.
Sometimes the footer will hover mid thread, then drop to the bottom after it fully loads.
Not exactly sure whats going on, or why its doing it, but it makes me a sad panda.
Especially when it happens and the footer is right in the middle of a post I'm trying to read.
