Subject: I guess Frankie is pretty lucky.....

Hey guys,

Some of you may remember Gamestop had a contest at the launch of Reach. Gamestop claimed that five lucky people would get one of the Noble team statues at halofest last year. To have a chance to win, one would just have to register a number on their Halo Reach receipt, email address ect. So like many, I excitedly entered the contest after getting back from Gamestop at two in the morning. Like many, I LOST :P I soon forgot all about this lovely promo until I started watching the new 343 studio VIDOCS for HaloFest. In one particular video In-which Frankie talked throughout, guess what I Saw?... All five statues are given individual shots where they currently reside inside 343 studios!!!! WOW, I GUESS FIVE 343 EMPLOYEES WERE PRETTY LUCKY TO FAIRLY WIN THE CONTEST, HUH? So I guess Gamestop flat-out LIED to us just to get us on their mailing list...

What do you guys think?

UPDATE: the Carter statue can also be seen clearly in the Halofest interview from Destructoid!

There can only be one statue of each Noble Team member in the entire world? I was unaware of this law myself.

We were also told that each Noble Team Legendary Edition Statue would be individually numbered and hand painted and made strictly on a pre-order or bust basis. That didn't work out either.

When it comes to the games it's OK to take the company's word on stuff. But with sales and the things that include other companies? Things get sketchy.
