Me, like many any poor souls, am one of the people too poor to afford an iPad. Is a PC port too much to ask? It would appeal to much more people than just iPad owners. It be ironic to put it on Steam. *bad dum tish!*

Also, why isn't it available on the iPhone or iTouch? It's not like controls would be a problem, Civilization games work fine and so does Plants vs. Zombies.

Someone will emulate it or they'll make a flash version eventually. Not of the sequel because that's not free, but they'll do it. There will be too much demand for it.

When I grow up, I want to be just like goofenhour.

The game is pretty much built for the screen touch mechanic that is on the iPad and iPhone. A port for the PC would be rather difficult, as it takes that feature away. And "Pass and Play" would be rather difficult on the computer.

The controls for the game require a rather large screen. It's kind of difficult to see what your ships are doing with the lack of the iPad screen. It would also be difficult to move your ships without the large screen. Plants vs. Zombies has a stationary screen where Crimson game does not.

I think a PC port using Steam or something would work very nicely.

The End

‘The conscious is cancerous if allowed to linger’

"Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there."

A better question would be: why the iPad rather than the Android platform, which currently holds ~50% of the market share?

I imagine the game, or in the very least other Aerospace titles, will be launched on other platforms in the not so distant future. They're just getting started.

Now, in the quantum moment before the closure, when all become one. One moment left. One point of space and time.

I know who you are.

You are Destiny.

I'd image they develop for the iPad and other iDevices because of the Bungie Foundation--or they just prefer Apple products. They do have corporate iPhones, you know.
