I just bought the game a couple of days ago, and I think it's pretty good. The game play is decent (for a mobile application), and the controls are pretty simple to understand. However, my biggest problem with it is the lack of simplicity for the overall game; it requires a good portion of thought, and the objective's are completed at a fairly slow rate.
Angry Birds, however, has the advantage of being incredibly simple and extremely fast paced. When I'm playing a mobile game, that's what I want. When I want a slower and more in-depth experience, I play console/PC games.
The other problem is its lack of appeal to audiences of all genre's. This has a more violent theme, so who knows how many older adults (and younger children) even want to play this?
The demographic possibilities for Angry Birds is much higher, so I would only expect Angry Birds to do better. However, as I stated before, this is a great mobile game.
