I'm not particularly fond of the manner you brought this up in, but nonetheless...I have to agree that I'm glad Bungie isn't managing Halo or Reach anymore. There's so, so many flaws in Reach that they just seem to ignore. They have the "just smile and wave" mentality with Reach. Meaning: They take it as there's no flaws and it's the perfect Halo. What's that, they don't? Watch the ViDoc. There's more then enough proof.
Maybe to them it was? They still said they learned valuable lessons from Reach.
Yeah, I guess it probably was. I just think it wasn't the game the loyal Halo fans deserved. I mean, it was supposed to be their swan song. Yet, it seemed to only disappoint. It had a lot of potential, but they took it in a completely different direction that some people liked and other people hated, quite frankly. I'm not blindly hating on the game. There was some good things that they did. But, as a whole, I thought it could've been something great but instead of a poor excuse for a Halo game, in my eyes.
Explain loyal Halo fans.
Somebody who has stuck alongside Halo and Bungie. Fans who go as far as reading the novels and immersing themselves in the great universe Bungie created. (Obviously there's loyal Halo fans out there who haven't read the novels, but I'm sure most of them do.) People who've stuck with Halo tend to be more of the 'hardcore gamer'. Yet, with Reach...they catered to the casuals. To me, not something a loyal fan would want. To me, it seemed like a move made just so they can make some more money. Next, the story. Like said, most loyal fans have probably read the novels. Well, Reach takes those novels. Pours some gasoline on them. And lights them on fire. In conclusion...it doesn't seem like the ideal game. It doesn't seem like the swan song, the "ultimate Halo game" that fans who've stuck with the series deserved.
