By too human, I think he's referring to the fact that Jun suffered from post dramatic syndrome, or something like that, and I think it was him lol. And Emile obviously was a little uneasy about news of Jorge's death, but played it off by tryin to be funny. TRYING.
Master Chief has shown feelings time and again, but that doesn't make me dislike him. Cant say the same bout NOBLE
Talk about a double standard then. Chief can show emotion and it's fine, but Noble shows emotion and that's bad? They barely showed any except for Emile. Did Carter break down into tears when Kat died? No. Did Six get all misty eyed when she had to tell Kat Jorge didn't make it? No.
I mean, in the games the Chief doesnt show much emotion, only like when Johnson dies. You can't see his facial expression, but obviously Cortana knows what's up and tells him she's sorry. Noble team, save for 6, show too much human traits during the game. Would the Chief "threaten" Halsey like Carter did? Would he be screamin during each mission how he's gonna -blam!- the enemy like Emile? Does he even give a rat's ass about his home? Or does he just follow orders like a soldier, keep unecessary comments to a minimum and most importantly, stay alive and get the job done?
I judge characters based on the games AND books. Can't for Noble, but they act like Chief in the books for the most part. You also have to consider they're Spartan-IIIs, they were valued for their emotion, particularly that against the Covenant since they were all orphans. I would think Kurt and Mendez would know how to make quality Spartans. Which Noble Team were.
