After trying several online video pages who all reduce the quality dramatically, I decided to reencode so it would fit on mythica.org. Sorry for the delay, but better late than never ;-)

Tuesday 28th Maw Gathering Video - hosted by mythica.org

Thx to all the "actors" (not that you had a choice anyway :p)

The Maw Gatherings on Tues/Thurs and also the Maw Humpday's on Wed/Fri are times when the (active)members of these forums play together on server's provided by TUI clan and myself. Both servers are 24-hours and if you wish to play on them you are welcome.

Holy Crap great video. You stole the next song I was going to use in my next video, Thats my favorite song by Linkin Park. What software did you use to edit the video, it didn't look like Movie Maker?

Nope, it's not Movie Maker ;-)

As I mentioned a coupe of times before, I think Movie Maker is absolute **** when it comes to editing movies of several GB's. It eats up tons of system resources, is incredibly slow and simply lacks in overall performance and functionality.

What I use is Adobe Premiere. Try it, use it, love it :p

And sorry about the song... lol

Adobe Premiere eh? How's the price on that? I might check into it.

Stupid parents let their stupid children play games that are rated M when they should be playing Big Birds Spelling Adventures

Also the AR is actually good in CQB now and no longer a glorified baseball bat.

If you want to get a good video editing program cheap, then watch for the double pack of Photoshop Elements and Premire Elements to go on sale.
I got both of them(3.0 and 1.0) for $80 on sale.
The most recent versions are 4.0 and 2.0 respectively.

Wow, nice kills! I always love seeing how other people play the game, and I was especially glad to see that I'm not the only one who aims (basically, not exactly) like that with the pistol! The more "ZOMG!!!!" parts of the video to me were the sprees you got at BG though. I just love to see a person take down a full 'Hog singlehandedly!

Don't drink to excess– You might shoot at tax-collectors... and miss

Computer: Power Mac G5 CPU Type: PowerPC G5 (2.2) Number Of CPUs: 2 CPU Speed: 1.8 GHz L2 Cache (per CPU): 512 KB Memory: 1.25 GB Bus Speed: 900 MHz

ATi Radeon X800 XT Mac Edition

Nice video. I liked the sceen transitions where you used the scope zoom in at the end of one segment and zoomed out into the next.

If anyone remembers Bungie's Marathon, they had a neat way of saving movies of the game– the game kept track of where you were in the map and what you were doing in a small file. The file did not hold video. You'd tell Marathon to play the last movie and it would take the coordinants and actions info from the file and run it through the game and you'd see a movie of what you did. Think of it as recording the netcode and then replaying it.

The Maw Gathering is on a 24-hour dedicated server. So, to answer your question, done and done.

The Pro version is about $800. Of course, not a single sane person would get it in their mind to pay that much. Luckily, there is Premiere Elements as well (a slimmed down version), which goes for around $55 (amazon.com), and still contains all the functions you'll ever need and more.

It's worth it.

Cool, thank's Ice. Will probably pick it up on one of my next payday's. I made one of my best gathering movie's, but made the file waaayyyyy to BIG. I was trying to make one of good quality, but didn't pay attention on how long it would take someone to download it. So I imported it back into Window's Movie Maker and it PUT IT BACK INTO A MILLION CLIPS! grrrr. Oh well....will make another one and post it.
