Subject: How Are Bungie Employees Financial-wise?

“Oh, it’s a little bit of everything, it’s the mountains, it’s the fog, it’s the news at six o’clock, it’s the death of my first dog, it’s the angels up above me, it’s the song that they don’t sing, It’s a little bit of everything.”
- Dawes, A little bit of everything

*Considers a "Will ban for cash" sig*

No, I don't think that would not work because there's too many people here who would jump on the opportunity to ban people for free. I propose that you start a "Will not ban (for money)" system.

Here's $20.

-blam!- the -blam!-ing -blam!-ers!

I understand nothing because my life is a conspiracy.

I was thinking about becoming a Concept Artist for Bungie in the future, so this is useful information. I'm pretty good for being 14, but I still have 8+ years to improve my skills. If anyone could help me with requirements that are not listed on the careers page, for example concept art that makes Bungie pleased and makes other companies jelly. Plus, I have a passion for games and Bungie looks like it is a fun job with great coworkers. Jerome makes me feel safe.

Art... Or programming? A strange set of selections. Isn't AI programming written in binary?
Haha, no. Nobody codes in straight binary. :P

I don't know how it's done in newer Halos, but I know that many games actually include a script engine and interpreter for various features including AI. You can see some Halo 1 AI script snippets here.

Holy mother of the lard! An entry-level video game programmer makes on average 50000 dollars a year!?
And you say "people in the games industry make a little less than their equivalents elsewhere"?

America, where have I been?

In my country the salary is monthly and we receive 14 salaries per year: one for each month and two extra: one for the Christmas holidays and another for the June/August holidays.

An entry-level programmer earns on average 1000euros a month.

Do you realize what I've just said? An entry level in my country makes 14K a year and in the US you make 50K!
How ridiculous is that!?

Golden-texted richmen, do you have any colleague that majored in Electronics Engineering? What is his job? Does your major matter that much when choosing a job?
I can't even handle thinking I'm either going to be working as a programmer (moar liek typist) for some low-tier boring company or spend the rest of my life as an electrician.

Engineers need action, otherwise they become sad.
Should I immigrate after finishing my course (Masters in Electronics Engineering)? Would someone with this education (best in the country for this particular course) be of any value for a company like Bungie?

Actually you make 20k dollars a year with the euro->dollar conversion. Still a bit shafty, all the same.

For the record: I would gladly accept bans for cash.

I think this program has some real potential.

I meant 14K euros.
You're still right, though!

I <3 you too Bungie

This could just mean you're wise with your money. The cars most commonly driven by the wealthiest of Americans are the cheaper Toyotas or a Prius.

“I didn't want to wake up. I was having a much better time asleep. And that's really sad. It was almost like a reverse nightmare, like when you wake up from a nightmare you're so relieved. I woke up into a nightmare.”

I would hate to buy all their games and have them living in mud huts. >.<

You should consider signing up on a Honda site that is followed by tech. A certain host of the US version of Top Gear is a member as well as a few relatively popular members in the "car world". That's if you're an H ride enthusiast.

Take a step back with me and enjoy a taste of the bittersweet that is our current generation.

I enjoy Battlefield and Call of Duty, and Gears of War.

20 years old, manager of my family's business, aspiring officer of the law.

I love anything political.

I would imagine most full-time employees are in the middle section of the middle class or just cusping the edge of upper middle.

This is my guess.

Pretty accurate I guess.

Except Stosh. I blame him.

I would imagine they're multi-millionares, what with the hugely successful Halo. But some feeling tells me their not.

So, if it's allowed in the public, how are they $-wise?

-hoobla-

Good Question you would think alot because of their best selling video games. But from observing all the things I know about them it doesnt seem like they are. But im sure they're not flashing their money around or anything.... right?
