Subject: Halo Reach controls vs Halo 3's

So, after playing Reach (and quitting til october since it's an unbalanced broken pile of crap) and then Halo 3, Halo 3's controls seem a bit more jittery and not as smooth as Reach's. Anybody else feel this? This IS my first time playing 3 on an HDTV, so I'm just wondering if it's my TV, or if it's normal to be doing bad with 3's controls for a bit after reach. Just asking :/

BTW, 3>reach

Your probaly not used to Halo 3 anymore. Just keep playing and things will get better.

It's the TV. Halo 3 always had smooth controls.

And Cobravert is absolutely correct.

Both games are at 30 fps.
Connection in game can really make a difference on how jumpy / jittery these are. In H3 I often saw skating, disappearing, jumpy stuff quite often.

In Reach it seems I see things moving more fluidly, but when it's laggy, everything just freezes for a couple seconds. It's really aggravating when it happens.

Boltshot = mini shotgun

It's probably you getting used to the controls again. If you don't want to deal with this, just use Recon in Reach; it's the closest to Halo 3's controller configuration.

It wouldn't be the controls. I'll play reach for a month and switch back to Halo 3 and nothing is jumpy
