Subject: Bloom Does NOT Make This Game More Skillful

Yes, the more accurate shooter might win a bit more, but you have to make em equal, in which the pacer will win cause he lands more headshots as too many of the spammer's bullets will miss because of the bloom. So yes, bloom does make the game more skillful, also because if noobs can spam and do good, then it doesn't take skill, which pretty much destroys the argument in the first place.

Halo: Reach is the beginning of a new age for gaming.
It proves that developers can get away with punishing their players instead of fixing their game....and yet the fanboys will still sing praises to them.

-blam!- all of you fanboys!

BLAH BLAH BLAH,

Another idiot who wants to try attacking bloom by using 1v1 examples.

Hey guess what, bloom does take skill, but not the kind you're thinking of.

Teamwork is a skill

2v1 overcomes bloom

Pacer vs Pacer = 1v1 (NOT WHAT HALO IS ABOUT)
Spammer vs spammer = 1v1 (NOT WHAT HALO IS ABOUT)

Get a -blam!- clue!

and shoot as fast as you can WITHOUT HOLDING DOWN THE TRIGGER, and you'll notice that the gun doesn't become less accurate.

2v2 then.
Or 3v3.
Maybe 8v8.

How is Bloom made skillful and fair then?

If you have to use labels like 'Retarded' to describe anyone who disagrees with you, Then your arguement has lost any weight it might of had, and I personally will assume you are just trying to get a rise out of people.

Also to those who think that having a high KDR means you're beast; just the fact that boosters exist is a prime reason that any thumbless noob can achieve it throwing the 'my high KDR validates my opinion" logic out the window.

So true. Though I do disagree to the extent that you will from time to time find yourself in a 1v1 DMR fight even in BTB. But when it comes to that then you need to look at the situation, if he's walking towards you then you can shoot him faster. If he's walking away/Backwards then you need to slow down your shots.

People who whine about it thinking they got cheated out of a kill because of 'luck' (which I believe means; "I spammed my Reticle bloom out to the size of a golf ball and missed every shot")

(and if he's just standing still, then you must assassinate him, but that's an opinion.)

How often do you really see 2v2 battles 3v3 battle or 8v8 battles.

And even if that was the case.

One team focuses on single targets at a time, while the other team of 8 isn't.
IE 8v1 vs 8v8.

It still comes down to teamwork.

Team Shooting rather.

Is punishes people who don't work as a team.

So yes...it is good.

...

You mean you can't be some rambo that single handedly wins the game for your team anymore..you mean it's actually requires a bit more teamwork, rather than having just some awesome player on your team dragging you to the victory....

Yes...Bloom is a good thing.

You do realize that 1v1 battles actually do happen quite often and only become 2v1 battles because of the length of the 1v1 battle.

Yep, ADHD paid mew2King(player who had won every smash mlg event) to lose to him so he could go to the finals and win the event.

You can still singe handedly carry a team. With 343 admitting bloom does not work as intended, how can you still think its take skill? Its completely random, considering spamming at any range is more effective than pacing.

-blam!- all of you fanboys!

the fact that 1v1 battles happen is not the point!

You should be doing everything you can to avoid 1v1..and making it 2v1.

That is what bloom does. But your too stupid to realize that and continue to play in your Rambo mode.

Lose the attitude that you can do everything yourself...
wait for backup.
And bloom will not be an issue for you.

That and the fact mlg could not stream Smash is probably why it got removed from the circuit. Idk about WoW, but I wanna say it wasnt getting very many participants.

Hey guess what, bloom does take skill, but not the kind you're thinking of.

Teamwork is a skill

So bloom was implemented to emphasis the importance of using teamwork to overcome it's faults?

Tell me how this applies to FFA's?

If they are individually skilled enough to pull it off why should the game stop them by introducing luck? Halo 3 already had a massive emphasis on teamwork, but Reach is just a little too much.

I think so, but I honestly dont remember. I dont pay very much attention to the non Halo games.

You might like how the mlg pro circuit is gonna work next year. Next year they are basically restructuring the entire tournament process.

Bloom is broken and flawed.

It would be that much easier for you to simply admit it.
The more you go down the "bloom = skill" path, the further down the "I'm retarded" path you go.
