oh the irony

You can argue either way... But it is stupid to argue either way. Bloom is not about 'skill.' It is about balance.

I think so, but I honestly dont remember. I dont pay very much attention to the non Halo games.

You might like how the mlg pro circuit is gonna work next year. Next year they are basically restructuring the entire tournament process.

If LoL is held in a more center stage then yes, definitely.

LoL, to me, is one of the most strategy and skill heavy games I have seen in the past decade.

Yet its far from balanced.

Why is it so hard for B.net kids to admit Bungie -blam!- up?

The average player's PSR = 100

Hey guess what, bloom does take skill, but not the kind you're thinking of.

Teamwork is a skill

So bloom was implemented to emphasis the importance of using teamwork to overcome it's faults?

Tell me how this applies to FFA's?

Not exactly what I meant. Its gonna be divided into seasons(Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter). Each season is supposed to have online events, with a LAN event at the end of the season. I dont know all the details yet.

But with LoL, it just depends how many viewers they get, how many fans attend events, and how many people participate in the events.

The DMR isn't even remotely balanced. In fact, it's even more OP than the BR. Only problem now is that it's so easy to use that it's practically retard proof.

  • 09.02.2011 2:45 PM PDT

If you can't tell, MLG players time their shots perfectly.

If you have to use labels like 'Retarded' to describe anyone who disagrees with you, Then your arguement has lost any weight it might of had, and I personally will assume you are just trying to get a rise out of people.

Also to those who think that having a high KDR means you're beast; just the fact that boosters exist is a prime reason that any thumbless noob can achieve it throwing the 'my high KDR validates my opinion" logic out the window.

...Was that an arguement FOR or AGAINST bloom?

I'm seriously having trouble making heads or tails of that statement, If DMR (And with it, Bloom) are easy to use, then What's The Problem?

Seems interesting. So like Halo could be a "summer" event while SC2 is a "fall" event?

And considering the turnout for LoL at Dreamhack, MLG might have gold in their hands.

The DMR is easy to use because of Bloom (and Reach's slow movement speed and bullet magnetism). But Bloom also adds luck to 1v1 DMR fights, making the outcome inconsistent.

So it's basically against Bloom. Bloom was designed to "balance" precision weapons, but it did the complete opposite.

Can't wait to see how OP the spammers are going to be.

Of course spamming is going to overpower pacing. Why the Hell would anyone pace a gun without bloom?

Isn't that what you guys are whining about?
^ This guy thinks spawnkilling is mean and is the result of someone who is bad and can't "fight like a man".

Just a forewarning of what you're dealing with.

Idiot, I never said it was "mean" I said it was weak.

Either way, you're bad. Spawn killing takes skill (hence the fact that you could never pull it off), and players should be rewarded for there skill. And since when does using your skill mean you didn't fight like a man? I suppose real men only fight with luck.

Just saying, I have spawn killed before. It is boring for the person who you are killing and for you. It's a skillful coward's tactic. Also, Either way, you're badreally? So mature,

Again, What's the problem? Now everyone has a weapon they can use? The BR was the only thing seperating 'Good' and 'Bad' Players?

Ah, ok.

Hmmm, it would be interesting then, if you had like a smaller tournament between season winners at the end of the year.

How do you not understand?

  • 09.02.2011 2:54 PM PDT

The only ones who should kill are those prepared to be killed.

I don't like bloom because the other halo games didn't have it. To me Reach doesn't feel like halo. Not much of an argument, though.

Sorry guys, didn't mean to push you back to your goal line. Here, take your ball back and we'll also give you a free fifty yards to play with.

That would probably be the "Nationals" event, and probably take place in the beginning of each year.
