Subject: Has Bungie made an impact on your lives?

Yes, I did make that mess. What are you going to do about it?

Yeah just a bit though, I'm only a hardcore gamer that has to be on every day of my life thanks to the Halo game. The one that started it all got me addicted to gaming. But I don't plan on going into a tech job even though I am really good with my electronics. I would rather go into the Marines.

You people have just sent my sides into orbit. A bunch of MLG try hards sucking the dick of some supposed pro half the thread hasn't even heard of. Classic.

Made a huge impact. I have made quite a few friends across the globe and have had some great memories.

Oh and it made me realize that I like nailing dudes online.

RIP Halo 2

I've been playing video games since before I can remember, but Halo was the first game I got really into and basically played it religiously. I know that I'd probably be a much different person and have somewhat of a different life had I never gotten Halo CE and an Xbox in 2001.

I who walk alone in this world wrapped in the arms of the past not knowing what lies ahead of me. What am I? A soulless being to be beaten by the rage of those who hate me? Cutting my way past hopes and dreams. Sit in the window sill as I do every day and night resignations on my slate of who I am and what is left behind. Concealed in the words that chases my every thought. I who walk alone in this world…I am broken

Yes it has i have made many friends here on B.Net and they have helped me in more ways then one!

It was the first cigarette of my FPS addiction. Now I can't quit. It helped with typing skillz as well.

Never curse a failure. Learn from your mistakes so that if you are lucky enough to get a second chance, you can avoid repeating the same mistakes. And have a greater outcome.

After getting into it after one of my friends from Ratchet & Clank 3 online recommended it to me, I became a musician, met friends around the globe, and became a better person. I have trouble fitting it in sometimes with school, a girlfriend, and sports, but I make sure to play a little every day. Whether its Halo 3 or Reach (or 2 on connect) when I get home from school or practice, or playing CE on my laptop in the back of the classroom during History, Halo still brings me endless enjoyment. Still trying to find all of the Easter Eggs on Yoyorast Island =)

I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

The quit line is now offering free nicotine patches.
Well worded, good sir.

The best event in the Halo series was the grunt rebellion!

Listen to some of this on, this site.

I played Halo and learned A LOT about it, that's all...

Pure Insanity
The point of war is not to die for one's clan, but it's to make the other bastard die for his
Right before you die, there is always a chance to save yourself, sieze that chance and live to fight another day
The best way to kill someone is to fight them with the same weapons they use and make them know you are better than them, not because of superior weaponry, but because of superior skill.
Hidden in the shadows, Clothed in camo, Armed to the teeth. Hunting.

I spend more time on my computer looking at the Bungie forums. Other than that (and having played the Halo games quite a bit), not really all that much.

Certainly. I've learned a great deal of things being here.

I've always hoped that in a small way that I've impacted on Bungie's life as well. And I think more so than any other company that this community really does. It's has been and will be a really cool ride. All of us getting to be a small part of something huge.

I second that statement. I honestly feel that I will remain an active member of this community for as long as possible. I think it would be interesting to one day look back and see I've been an active member for 20+ years and have been a devoted fan of Bungie since 2004. (By then I'd say less than 1% of the current members would still be here.)

Yes.

Because of the game Halo 2, I am now intending to major in Interactive Media & Game Development at my college.

Halo 2 was the game that got me into gaming.
