"They will Quake at my Shadow"

i dont think so i cant freaking find it. i was going to write a short story based off the battle that took place there. using the tour as a reference, i would have pinpoint accuracy of the events. now i must go from old youtube videos...

Don't upset Achronos or you'll end up with a dog's head in a jar in your mailbox.

The events of the battle isn't canon, however, the diorama being part of the John 117 monument is, I think. Don't quote me on that though.

The diorama as part of the monument is canon, the battle that is depicted is canon.

Well, just searched it up on halopedian.

"The Second Battle of New Mombasa is considered to be non-canon; it was part of Microsoft's Halo 3 Ad Campaign and not Bungie's work. Microsoft at that time had no control or idea of Halo 3's story, and therefore it is not present in said canon. Also, it does not appear in Halo 3 or Halo: Uprising."

So it's "supposed to symbolically represent the Human-Covenant War as a whole, and John-117's sacrifice for humanity."

That makes sense.

We believe that the universe is unbounded: this is not the same as infinite: the 2-D surface of a sphere, wrapped around a 3rd dimension, has a finite size, but has no end. If you start off in a given direction on the surface of a sphere, you could return to your start point without having to turn around -- you simply go all the way around. But wouldn't that mean the universe has an escape velocity like the earth?

Because the Chief was obviously captured in New Mombasa before or during the events of Halo 3.

Halo3.com I think.

It got taken down, though I really hope (maybe you can ask 343?) that it get's put back up. Was a very nice diorama and the site was cool.

Though I was amused at how when you do the tour, certain areas suddenly change after passing master chief :D.

They had it set up for Halo fest, although i'm sure that doesn't help you much. Sorry but I have no idea.

Old school Bungie, born and raised,
In the Septagon is where I spend most of my days.
Relaxin', maxin', posting all cool,
Talking about Halo, life and some school.
Got in one little argument, and the mods got scared,
they said "You're gonna get banned and your member title'll be bare!"

I'm pretty sure it's currently set up in Bungie Studios. I saw a forum thread a few days back containing pictures of someone's visit to the studio, and in the album were photos of the diorama.
