Yeah, they really need to change that for Halo PC; all they need to do is redo the entire UI and add a couple of new things in.

While doing that though, they completely forget about the one for Halo 2 though.

So, how about they just do what they need to do for Halo 2 on PC, and just forget about Halo CE PC?

There's Xfire, and that serves a purpose pretty close to the one of a friends list, plus allows you to look at the servers and stuff. It even lets you message your friends like a program like AIM even during a game.

I think that when you send someone a message, you get a reciept (like a message to your self) when its opened by the reciever. This is so you can tell when they are being rude by not answering you or if they are just busy and they never opened it.

yeah... not all online games have this. just a lot of them.

forget about it in halo pc... this game is old enough that rewriting the ui isnt worth it, but halo 2 should quite definitely have this.

Halo isn't XboxLive. Nor is it IRC, MSN Messenger, AIM, ICQ, Jabber, Skype, or Pacific Bell.

In other words, if you want to keep in touch with people you meet during games, ask them how you can do so.

I agree with him. They shouldn't include that with the game, it only would take up more space on your computer. That's the kind of thing they Xfire for. BTW: Xfire is great.

About my previous thread: I thought you guys were talking about making those additions to the Maw. Not the actual game itself.

Still though, Halo PC was somewhat disappointing without a buddylist.

A "Favorite Servers" list wouldn't hurt either.
