What I am asking is should there have been a halo game that involved both stories? The Spartan's point of view and the Elite's point of view? I know halo 2 was sorta like a double campaign but a full campaign for both sides. Vote and leave some good comments.

When the toasters broken Blame Stosh.
Dont let evilcam play a violin.
When everybody is reset to member blame urk.
When Achronos Honey is stolen blame Duardo
Dont tell oldpaparich to call you youngling, He prefers the term Whippersnapper

There never was a double story good idea though.

@accordingto343

Your one stop shop for all of 343's fabulous errors and ridiculous notions in the Halo lore.

Not a big fan of dual campaigns, Halo 2's especially. The Arbiter missions quickly became nothing more than boring Flood levels that rivaled The Library on the crap scale. Either pull an ODST-style game or keep it focused on one character.

I hated ODST Rookie's "i spy" story was hard and dumb i hated looking for clues.

It would be more efficient and a lot less taxing to just do two separate games than a single game with a duel campaign.

It's not like they were that hard to find. The HUD would glow and the clues became bright yellow. ODST also had the added bonus of a story within a story with Sadie's Story. More of that is needed in Halo.

I agree to the most of that, however it was good to know what the Arbiter would've been doing if we hadn't had tabs on him. But the fact the levels became monotonus flood rounds, instead of squashing more heretics, was disapointing. I really agree that a game should be focused on one character. Unless on a seperate time-scale with something important to show for it at the end.

I like the idea of seperate campaigns but i'd rather it was to seperate the single player from the co-op. The Mass Effect games are brilliant because BioWare focused on making them incredible for a single player. The left 4 dead games are brilliant because valve made them with co-op in mind.

Imagine if Halo 3 had a campaign that was designed from the ground up as a single player only experience. The level designers could be much more inventive with their missions and set pieces if they knew there would only ever be one player.

Now imagine Halo 3 had a campaign that could only be played in co-op, (or with 3 AI buddies) where instead of playing as the Chief, you play as the ODSTs. Again the level designers could go to town by optimising the gameplay for a co-op experience.

Yes and no.

Though, it is a pretty cool idea, it has already been done. (In Halo 2.)

Half Man.
Half Horse.
Half Machine.
All "Jerk Who's Really Bad at Math."

PS
No, I do not want to join your clan/group.

The exact same battles as seen through Covie/Spartan eyes? No thanks.

A Covie-centric game that shows all-new battles and encounters we've never seen before? Sure; I don't really think it'd be too hard to pull off and it could give us a really good view of the culture of the Elites (more so than H2 did) and the other Covenant races.
