What are your views, ideas or facts on the Halo movie. Will it be made? Why arent they making it public if it is made?

I wrote a portfolio pice on this for college and got some facts Id like to share with everyone. Some other websites said they are gunna wait till reach dies down a bit before they release it to make more money and get fans that quit playing to play again. I kno that every1 that has heard the word HALO will want to go see this movie if it was made. This would probably be bigger than rach or HAlo: anneversary. They would make a butt load of money off this and im 100% shure that it would be bigger than Avatar. Avatar was just a futureistic Pochahontas. They copied off a kids show. So give me your views on this topic.

Production problems. Halo is comparable to an epic. You can really do justice to it through a film. Also, it's very hard to make a faceless hero and a man of few words a main character. There are also budget concerns and the question: "Who will direct the movie." The director has to be someone who has good knowledge about the game and is willing to try hard and not give up on the project, unlike the previous directors and producers of the Halo movie project.

I wouldn't think waiting for Reach hype to die down would be an effective strategy. With Halo Anniversary and Halo 4 following soon after hype will grow if anything.

Personally I'm skeptical of a Halo movie, partly because film adaptations of games don't fair too well, but mostly because they would probably shoot for a PG-13 rating and no one wants that.

On a side note: what's your major in college?

This. Last time I checked into it, a new script was either in the works or being bought after the first one was scrapped. As for Peter Jackson, he was ever only on as a producer I believe and originally it had Neil Blomkamp as director. Due to budgeting problems however, the project was halted and Blomkamp used existing funds from Halo to make District 9.

I know I'll see whatever the push out for the movie but I can't help but wonder just how bad they will tweak it.
