The UNSC Infinity is going to be in halo 4 so yeah not really the spirit of fire.

Nothing confirms that.

Correct that may be the case but for now my belief is that a lot of the concept art of Halo 4 at halo fest will be in halo 4.

Concept art they said not to get attached to.

So? If I released concept art for something I was working on I'd say not to get too attached to it as well, even if it was something that I knew for certain would get used in my work. They would be far more likely to be referring to appearance of the things in the images, and not the concept behind the images. If concept art is shown before a film or video game is released then it is not going to fundamentally change from the concept portrayed in the image. The appearance of the object may change between release of the work and the unveiling of the art. The concept behind it however usually does not.

In the Reclaimer Trilogy's case, I believe that 343i has made it rather clear, both from the name of the trilogy and the concept art they've shown, that the UNSC will be playing some prominent role within the trilogy.

Yeah you couldn't have a story about Master Chief without the UNSC, he's apart of the UNSC, and as his home faction, I don't think he would want to be apart from it, and likewise them from him. Its almost like a relationship.

Haters are going to hate.
Praisers are going to praise.

The Bungie Forums are what keeps my mind sharp and my fingers active, between writing my own movie scripts, drawing, and studying industrial design. At the moment I'm working on miniatures for a short movie that I'll hopefully be able to film once I've saved up for a camera... That's me, with the mug, trying to have a conversation with Konoko.

Hmm, hold on, wasn't The Spirit of Fire found years after the events in Halo3, didn't the timeline say so?

But wait a sec, do I care about Halo 4?.. Na.

You're so much better at laying things out than me. And strangely more persuasive.

No, it didn't.

So why are you here?

I would have to agree that the Flood might be involved, concidering they are an extra-galatic paracite and they have already visited our galaxy twice and been beaten twice.

And we found a cure to the Flood like a billion years before the events of halo CE

110,000 years, not a billion. The cure was destroyed too, a final "FU" to the Forerunners for taking advantage of humanity after their war with the Flood.

Master Chief is going to meet up with his former spartan comrades before reach was destroyed. These spartan's being Fred and Kelly. He's also going to meet up with Dr. Halsey which is in the heart of the planet Onyx seen in the legendary ending of Halo3 and the Halo4 trailer. Master Chief is not the last remaining spartan, as there are many others still alive.

Thanks, wasn't sure of the time scale so i just choose a number at random. However, the destruction of the cure was a tatical mistake by us, but we couldn't have know that they would come back. But we were in exile by then, confined to one world and all tech taken from us and all.

That and they had to sacrfice a third of their population (please correct if there are any mistakes)
