Does anyone here know how to get halo onto xbox live? I know that it is possible but I can't find anywhere explaining to me how to do it. Can anyone point me in the direction of a thread or site that can help me out. Or post it personnally if you can. Thanks.

This free program lets you play system link games over the internet. Because Halo was released a year before Xbox Live the game only supports play over high speed LAN so expect SEVERE lag when you play a LAN game over the internet. However games like Halo 2 with optimized netcode for internet play works perfectly fine with almost no lag.

actually getting halo 1 onto LIVE is impossible. Halo 2 you can, but that is why some ppl are critical of halo 1, no LIVE.

You may be happy to know, the word seems to be that Halo C/E is comming to the Xbox 360 market place for download this summer. If it's true, we can finally play some Halo on xbl instead of this novice game.

Halo:CE is'nt available for Xbox Live but it's available for Xbox Connect. I can't download it due to I have Windows 98 and some other connection crap but if you have all the right stuff download it. Like someone said it is very laggy but hey it's free! Or you can go and spend the $20 it costs for Halo:PC and play online mulitplayer for free on that. People make all these maps with H2 weapons and cities like Old Mombosa, or inside a volcano. Some have weapons from other games and other maps have you play as a sentinel or a grunt instead of MC. Your choice, XBC or Halo:PC.
