I mean, some Bronies really do have the intention to discuss the show, but they never, EVER end well.

I think it should be put under the same category as religious and political discussion. It's earned that spot.

First, it was furries. Then, bronies. In a month, it will be something else.

There's no point trying to stop the bandwagon, just let it run out of fuel.

True, I suppose.

I guess we can always just wait and report them when they get out of hand.

Well, here we are. I guess that it was destined to come to this.

If you see a disruption or rule violating post, report it.

If you want to consider a particular topic worthy of reporting, then do so. Just keep in mind that if enough of your fellow members report it, it will get the attention of a moderator.

If however, the moderator reviews the report and sees nothing rule violating in their eyes, those who reported may be advised of the fact there is a disagreement with their reporting and the moderators interpretation of the rules. It's sort of a check-and-balance.

Good to know thanks :)

What are we supposed to be discussing here?

"Nothing in the 'Verse can stop me."

I've said this before, if this were to be a ban worthy topic then there is much else that also wouldn't make the cut. Hating on a television show is very petty.

Stop banning me please.

I am always afraid I will get into trouble for reporting too much.

Who said anything about hating on a television show?

Every pony thread is either:
(A) A troll
(B) A legit brony

If (B), then it's inevitable that you will get your basic haters, and then trolls who don't really care about the show but still provoke arguments.

At this point the thread is either locked or burning a hole in the forum.

I remember when I used this space to put cool looking links to my chapters back in the day. I don't even know why I'm using it now. Why are you even reading this? You must be interested in me. Still reading?

It is possible to run into trouble if you are wrongfully spamming the report button. If you are using it correctly, and the posts you report include legitimate infractions, then no, you won't get in trouble.

Next will be communists, just you wait and see.

I don't spam the report button but I still think I do it too much to threads they may not be supposed to be reported

So? There is still nothing wrong with the topic itself but the users who enter it. You just stated that haters and trolls will provoke arguments and flaming. Ergo, they are the issue not the actual fans.

This is why most things are dealt with on a case to case basis and why we still have freedom of a lot of discussion. If we made MLP against the rules then we might as well make music against the rules as well. Music threads (especially dubstep threads) generate a lot of hate and varying opinions.

Topic made on the likes of different media will always have opposing sides but just because one outweighs the other doesn't mean a topic should be banned (with few exceptions).

Just deal with it and report the flamers who actually break the rules. Jeez, this is a forum not a cyber utopia.

Oh but really I think any thread that has COD BF or pony in it should be report worthy

Troll confirmed. I never even insulted you

OP - You're a dumbass with the reading comprehension skills of a second grader.

Can someone tell me what's wrong with these two, this made me LOL hard.

Some bronies want to talk about the show. Other posters want to rail it. Why ban the bronies when they're legitimately discussing about the show? Why not ban the people actually derailing it?

The pony threads aren't report worthy. The derailers of said threads are breaking the rules.
