Alright, listen up.
While casually blasting through Halo once again on Heroic, I came across something strange. There are two prison rooms on the T&R (truth and reconciliation), one with an active camoflauge powerup, and one that contains the surviving command crew from the pillar of autumn.
So I sprint into the second prison room desperate to make use of my active camoflauge, I take out every single enemy in the room silently (using melee attacks) before it wears off. Mind you, I forgot the grunt on your immediate left as you enter the room, but he was sleeping anyways. So I open up the Prison cells.....nothing happens. No in game cinematic, nothing. Confused, I look to my left and see a marine get out of his cell. He runs to the center of the room and begins running back and forth without a weapon, cowering occasionally just like the technicians in the Pillar of Autumn. So I walk up to him to investigate. Instead of cowering at each end of his path, he begins to stand with his arms outstreached like a traffic cop. After I finished laughing at the poor sucker, I looked at the marines in their cells facing him. They were standing there, rythmically hitting their heads with their left hand. Their hand was making a peace sign if i saw it correctly. After i began looking around the room to see where the captain was, the cinematic finally queud in.
I'm not sure if this is some kind of easter egg, but it happened nonetheless.
