I apologize in advance for all the crappy jokes I make.

Yeah, but I'm more of a lurker, not a poster, that way my addiction wasn't very noticeable.

I made this a hot topic. :D

Racism isn't wrong if it's funny.

Basically, I have only had dry spells. I was absent for about eight months from November of 2009 to August of 2010.

But now I'm back to my regularly scheduled visits...for beter or for worse.

I remember when I used this space to put cool looking links to my chapters back in the day. I don't even know why I'm using it now. Why are you even reading this? You must be interested in me. Still reading?

Everyone has a little down time on activity at some point. I have, several times.

I am adamant to bring all down time to an end...it's not working so well.

I'm not addicted, I can stop whenever I want.

  • 09.06.2011 8:53 PM PDT

I'd say I was more "addicted" back when all the fancy stuff was going on with the SI before ODST was officially announced. I was always on here waiting for that countdown to finish and surfing around for all the posts by the Super. By far my most enjoyable time here.

Yeah my addiction came a little after Halo 3 came out, I thought the site was so awesome and interesting...it still is!

Please...don't ban me!

Halo 2 was the best Halo game
A7x FoREVer!

Halo 3 beta, Halo Reach beta, and summers where I had nothing to do. I also was addicted when I first made my original account and discovered the magic of the Zanzibar forum.

  • 09.06.2011 10:03 PM PDT

Oh yeah. Post-Halo 2 I went crazy with the Halo 3 hype. My favorite times in the forums were when the Halo 3 [Beta] forum had all those awesome theory threads, and when BUNGLE was becoming popular as a group. Basically it led to the community playing together on Halo Matchmaking and customs. Very awesome.

For me it's not so much a b.net addiction as it is an internet addiction. I only really check four sites. B.net, facebook, Hulu, and CNN. If it's not those sites, im playing games, or marathoning out on Netflix.

Never curse a failure. Learn from your mistakes so that if you are lucky enough to get a second chance, you can avoid repeating the same mistakes. And have a greater outcome.

Lets put it this way, my addictions here are when I'm lonely and have nothing better to do. Which explains why I have been on every single day for the last two months.

When I grow up I want to be bitter and spiteful.

Internet addiction in general, sure.

Nah, here lately i've been very sporadic with my activity.

  • 09.08.2011 9:42 AM PDT

Make choices, and don't look back.

When I was really into Reach I was posting a lot. I still come here on a daily basis, but I don't post that much anymore. I just read a lot.

There's an important difference between something being addicting and it being the only fun thing you have to do.
Indeed.

Anyways, I had my "addiction" when it was summer '10. TBH I didn't have much to do so I was always on Bnet :(

RIP Halo 2: November 9, 2004-May 10, 2010
I was the 2nd to last person to get kicked off Halo 2, see the thread Here

Definitely. I used to post in every thread I saw. I'm still on B.net all the time, I just don't post nearly as much.

I broke one of the cords for my X11s because I couldn't get past the final American course in Doritos Crash Course.

Halo 3 was probably my most addictive period, that's also when I first joined. I used to love preparing a huge snack and listening to the Podcasts when they were released.

I hope not.
