The tide is turning, brothers! Let us take our kingdom back!

It would be a pretty cool twist.

But he would have comm access to the rest of the colony's, in this galaxy or others, so he shold know, besides what if the Forerunners got hold of one of their ships and managed to blast them all to oblivion.

Or they didn't have extra-galactic colonys

the precursors made it a prisoner and locked it up in a cage so I really doubt they would give him comm access...and even if the forerunners captured ONE precursor ship it wouldn't make much different against an entire precursor fleet, certainly not enough to send them all to extinction.

Thats like saying if the UNSC captured the Long night of Solace they could destroy high charity and the entire covenant fleet.

But that was the plan for the Spartan 2's before Reach was attacked. They were going to capture a capital ship, go to their homeworld (they didn't know it was High Charity), capture their leaders and sign a truse.

But you make a good point...

p.s. I ment The Timeless one had access before he was captured, but im not sure when he did, so if you could fill me in that would be great

Oh yeah, i also ment to put that the Forerunners could have reversed engineered the tech, thats how humans were able to create the sheled emmiters on the Mark V armor, from captured Jackle Sheilds

I will dream of you." - The Didact

Answer this. Why would this "Last Precursor" lie about being a Precursor? How would it benefit itself from lying? I don't think it would lie, simply because it has no reason to. Whatever it is, it seems to be highly intelligent. Intelligent beings don't bother in making up lies to just screw with your head. They tell the truth, which screws with your head even more.

For the Precursors to have gone extinct, the war must have spanned the entire universe (which I doubt). So I believe you're right. Or, more likely, the Prisoner knows he's not the last yet is merely trying to demoralize his enemies into submission.

@accordingto343

Your one stop shop for all of 343's fabulous errors and ridiculous notions in the Halo lore.

He's got nothing to gain by lying about it.
