If this is the state of my art, then I secede.

Something about his account being compromised.

Trying something once will increace your chances of success, because you tried it. Try someting twice, and your chances increase yet again - seeing as you've done it. Try something a few thousand times, and your chances of success is exponentially increased; this increase would likely provide success every time

My first thought...

Either Recon has some terrible luck, or someone dun goof'd.

No, he just knows how to make a point.
By banning himself?

He's insinuating that he might have crossed the line while making a point, which got him banned.

Artes, Scientia, Veritas

Sapere Aude

"But I do not think we're invincible"

He banned himself for bypassing the profanity filter.

  • 09.06.2011 12:48 PM PDT

The distance between insanity and genius is measured only by success.

OTK

I need your clothes, your boots and your mobility scooter

He shouldn't have to do it but i can see why he has.

At least it will shut up all the idiots moaning about it.

Why not? The easiest way to demonstrate how illogical something is is to follow it to its conclusion.

Case and point: don't worry about it. Girls start getting boobies pretty soon, and then you'll have plenty of other things to think about. Being an Inheritor is not a life goal.

He banned himself for a week. Not permanently.

Which is crossing the line, lol.

Just a little.

Seeing it as a whole, it makes sense. The mains have been crying out about the ninjas being bias aganst their own actions. Plus, for whatever reason, Recon's had a lot of heat on his back. I admit, if I'm right, I'll be respecting Recon a lot more.

Pfft. Hardly worth a ban, let alone one that lasts an entire week.

But, burrito, it broke the rules! How can something break the rules and not warrant a ban? I'm confused :(

He was proving a point - and to be honest, I don't think it could have been done any better.

Feel free to send me messages, please be willing to wait 6-8 years for a reply.

1-7 hours if you at least tried to make it readable.

Immediately if you are Yax, Telec, or legendary.

Never if you are mythic, you guys smell funny.

He broke the rules, he bypassed the filter, why should any member receive special treatment?

Could be his second offense.

I do think that evasion of the profanity filter shouldn't warrant a week ban unless it's really bad, or used excessively.

That wasn't actually him. You can tell because when you quote the OP, it shows that the "edit" was manually written. Real edits don't actually count as part of the post.
