Subject: Halo 4 Plot Predictions

IB IR I IK

My prediction is that the MC awakens 3 years later from the cryo chamber and is being sucked towards the Forerunner Homeworld. He crash lands on the planet and begins to look for signs of life. He then approaches a large Forerunner city infested with Flood because during the 3 year period, another Gravemind has evolved into it's Interstellar form. Chief fights, after a short period Cortana's distress beacon from H3 finally reaches somebody. They know MC is the last hope, sends the Arbiter and ODSTs to recover him.
Thats all I have for now, just a prediction

She was talking to him during the Legends Movie while she says it was 3 years

  • 09.06.2011 7:20 PM PDT

I have never seen legends, not really into Anime. I'm not sure it should be taken as 100% cannon but that is just my opinion.

its made by 343i, why would she corrupt in 3 yrs?

After 7 years a Smart AI enters rampancy.

“Oh, it’s a little bit of everything, it’s the mountains, it’s the fog, it’s the news at six o’clock, it’s the death of my first dog, it’s the angels up above me, it’s the song that they don’t sing, It’s a little bit of everything.”
- Dawes, A little bit of everything

I don't think it will have a conclusive ending.

Do you mean Miranda Keys? She is dead.

My assumption for the Halo game:

MC fights aliens, then the flood, then he fights some robots, then MC saves some marines, then he has to find a control room, then he has to find an index, then some main characters die, then he triggers the halos to fire, then he has to stop the halos from firing, then he has to blow up his ship to stop the halos from firing, then he has to drive through an obstacle course. Then everyone starts playing multiplayer and in-general starts complaining about its every aspect, then everyone keeps playing, then people start sticking up for the multiplayer, then people threaten to play COD, then people keep playing Halo multiplayer, then people keep complaining about multiplayer, then some people get banned for doing things they have been told repeatedly not to do and are shocked that they are being temporarily banned and threaten to never play again but ultimately do. Then the next Halo game comes out, then people play that multiplayer and start complaining about that multiplayer and claiming about how the last Halo game had the best multiplayer game ever. Rinse, lather, repeat...

I agree with the Flood and gravemind but i think it will only be one year. MC will scout out his new where abouts and try to find a way to contact help. After a few missions he will contact Lord hood and UNSC will come and help MC stop the flood. Quickly realizing that they are overwhelemed, the UNSC contacts the elites for help. The Arbiter and Chief will lead the campaign against the ultimate enemy. And since humanity and the elites where cut down during the "Halo Wars" a year prior, it will be small scale warfare, And we may even bring in a new and un easy alli, the Brutes, to help in this desprite war.

Not if she's going to span a whole trilogy.

The Forerunner homeworld is practically uninhabitable and would not look like the LP

And also your theory wouldnt happen ever

This is a new trilogy, and your theory sounds like your talking just about H4, why would you leave the FORERUNNER Planet after 1 game, new trilogy has to do with FORERUNNERS, The Last Precursor and flood

  • 09.07.2011 3:00 PM PDT

I think the next trilogy of halo is going to be about reclaiming something. It is the reclaimer trilogy. I say halo 4: finding out what must be reclaimed halo5: gertting too and what needs to be reclaimed then going half way through what will be needed to reclaim it halo 6: You finish the job and reclaim what ever needed to be reclaimed.

I think what could be needed to be reclaimed is: maybe the universe from the flood, maybe forerunner DNA to clone the forerunners back, maybe a evwn bigger weapon stolen fromthe forerunners by the precursors.

to be honest i don't really have any idea what the next game(trilogy) will be about. These are just some wild ideas that might make a cool game(s)

@accordingto343

Your one stop shop for all of 343's fabulous errors and ridiculous notions in the Halo lore.

Halo 4: Chief undergoes several trials to prove he has what it takes to be a Reclaimer and stop the Timeless One.

Halo 5: Take the fight to the Timeless One's forces and perhaps rescues and encounters the Forerunners.

Halo 6: Confront the Timeless One.

That's how I see it.

What kind of trials? And what in between?

Hell if I know. I'm making a prediction. In nearly every hero story the hero must undergo several trials to prove his mettle.

The beginning of the Human-Covenant war-Halo 3 isn't enough?

Oh, let me give my prediction in a separate post.

Maybe, maybe not. Every Greek hero underwent multiple tests and trials to prove how great they were, Chief still has a way to go.

My prediction for the first level.

The planet Master Chief lands on is an unknown and mysterious installation in which a UNSC fleet, and an Elite fleet has been sucked into (separately at different times).
Master Chief recovers from the Frigate crashing on the planet, and comes out to see a mountainous, grassland environment. Cortana states that she has no idea where they are.
Chief either carries an MA5C out with him, or a prototype Assault Rifle (which will be the AR in the game), and heads off to scout this new location.
After running around the area, (going through control tests and trials), I think a cutscene will occur in which either Cortana says she's reading movement, or Chief sees something.
In the cutscene, Chief tracks down whatever was stalking him (the new enemy which I won't attempt to identify) to find it, where upon he is attacked by it. He kills the thing, and Cortana warns that there are more coming.
For the rest of the level, you're trying to make your way through the area without being killed. Along the way, you see a lot of Forerunner structures, which Cortana comments on, and my guess is that there will be a few clues as to the whereabouts of the plot.
At the end of the level, Cortana is shocked to the fact that she is receiving a human voice on the comm.
In the very last firefight, a Pelican dropship seemingly appearing out of nowhere arrives and deploys fresh troops to take out the hostiles attacking Chief.
The UNSC is surprised to find the Master Chief, and Cortana.

As to actual plot, I'm going with what Cobra said, mostly. Going with his theory, I'm convinced that the Forerunners might have absorbed as many ships that happened to pass by as possible to fight either an entire faction, or an overlord and his force supposedly.

But Halo is not Halo without the plot making a sudden turn. I also believe that at some point in the game, we'll either come face-to-face with an new, reformed Covenant brought about by completely different means than the past Covenant, or a completely separate Covenant-like faction that heavily influences where the story goes.
How'd they get there? If the planet is sucking ships in at random in hopes of desperately finding a hero, then perhaps the planet also sucked in those guys as well.

I also believe that halfway through the game, Forerunners will appear at the scene to assist you through the remainder of the game. I don't want to go into all that would happen and be revealed during that time.

Also, the Flood is going to be in too, but they're most likely already on the planet somewhere.

Also, I don't believe the entire trilogy is going to be founded on one central idea, but rather, the way the first one went with it all taking multiple twists and turns.

You know I disagree with the UNSC and Covenant presence Ruby, but I'll let it slide. As for a reformed Covenant...that's doubtful. The original Covenant relied on the Elites and Prophets using their technology to borderline enslave and indoctrinate other species. Nothing is left to reform the Covenant.

But there is this caveat thing. That last portion looks important.
